Abstract
This study aimed to improve the multiplication skills of class II students at SDN 06665 Medan City using smart board media. The purpose of this study was to improve students' ability to count as part of the second grade students' math lessons at SDN 066650 Medan City. This is classroom action research that aims to improve the quality of learning. The instruments used in this study were mathematical tests and class observations. Research data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques to analyze the results of observations and quantitative descriptive techniques to analyze test results. The success criteria were: 1) the average student score was 70; and 2) student participation was >70%. The results showed that in cycle 1, the success criteria had not been met. In cycle 2, it can be seen that the success criteria have been fulfilled and that 70% of students are active in the teaching and learning process, with the average student score increasing from 62.94 in cycle 1 to 72.35 in cycle 2
