Challenges in teaching religious and moral values, such as a lack of student engagement, diversity in cultural backgrounds, and limited use of communication technology, are the primary focus of this study. This study aims to analyze the role of communication science in the delivery of religious and moral values by teachers to students at Madrasah Aliyah Private (MAS) Cilendek Tasikmalaya City. This study explores aspects of verbal and non-verbal communication, the use of technology, and interaction dynamics that affect learning effectiveness. This research uses a qualitative approach with direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, and group discussions with students. The results of the study show that appropriate communication strategies, both verbal and non-verbal, as well as the use of technology can increase the understanding and internalization of religious and moral values among students. The main challenges teachers face include the diversity of student backgrounds and the lack of attention in the classroom. Empathic and assertive communication has proven to be an effective tool in building a good relationship between teachers and students.

Optimalisasi Hasil Belajar Siswa Menggunakan Model PBL Berbantuan Media Curipod di SMA

This research aims to find out whether the implementation of learning using the PBL model assisted by curipod media can optimize student learning outcomes in compound interest material in class XI SMA Negeri 15 Medan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The subjects in this research were all students of class XI Adam Malik, while the object of the research was the use of a curipod-based PBL model to improve student learning outcomes. Data collection uses description test techniques. The research results show that learning outcomes using the PBL model based on curipod media make students more interested in participating in learning, the material presented is easy to understand and students' mathematical problem solving abilities are good. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Results: there was an increase in the percentage of class completion scores from cycle I to cycle II by 16% from the percentage of completion of 72% in cycle I to cycle II to 88% and had met the success indicator criteria, namely classical learning completeness. reaches 80%. There was an increase in individual learning completeness from cycle I, there were 26 students who got a score ≥ 78, in cycle II there were 32 students who got a score ≥ 78.

Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Materi Bangun Datar dengan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik di Kelas V SD

Students' understanding of plane figure concepts previously needed improvement due to their low engagement in learning activities. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of teaching mathematics to flat forms material in class V at SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia, after employing a realistic mathematics approach. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is the research methodology employed. The four phases of the CAR model that is employed are planning, action, review (observation), and reflection. The research subjects of this study were 22 students from class V B of SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia, where there were 10 male students and 12 female students. Test analysis and observation were the methods of data gathering employed in this investigation. According to the study's findings which were based on the execution of two cycles, student learning activity presentation rose from 60% in cycle I to 88.5% in cycle II. Additionally, the percentage of students achieving learning objectives went up from 59% in cycle I (good) to 86% in cycle II (very good). The conclusion drawn from the data analysis results is that the realistic mathematics approach can enhance the learning outcomes of students in class V at SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia when it comes to the mathematics subject of flat shapes material.

This study examines the impact of text-based literacy strategies on improving vocational high school students' writing skills. Students' writing abilities remain low, particularly in composing expository texts that require critical thinking and logical arguments. The study aims to explore the effectiveness of interactive literacy strategies in teaching expository texts. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The participants included students and Indonesian language teachers at vocational high schools (SMK). The findings reveal that traditional literacy approaches, which focus solely on prescribed patterns, are insufficient to foster students' critical idea development. In contrast, interactive text-based literacy strategies that actively engage students prove more effective in enhancing writing skills and critical thinking. The study concludes that innovative teaching methods, particularly interactive strategies, are essential to improving students' literacy competence. Additionally, this research highlights opportunities to explore technology-based literacy approaches to support more effective teaching.

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPAS Dengan Menggunakan Model Project Based Learning Pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 060907

The teaching of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) on the topic My Needs and I in Grade IV at SD Negeri 060907 Pasar Senen requires a more effective approach to help students achieve optimal learning outcomes. The aim of this research was to improve the learning outcomes in natural and social science subject on the topic of me and my needs in fourth grade at SD Negeri 060907 Pasar Senen. This type of research was classroom action research. This subject was conducted in two cycles. The subject in this research were 24 students. Data analysis in this study was collected through observation sheets and tests. In the pre-cycle activities the avarage students score was 45,83%. After the action was carried out in first cycle, the avarage student grade becomes 63,33%. In the second cycle, avarage student grades increased to 87,5 %. There was an increase 41,67% from the pre-cycle to the socond cycle towards learning natural and social science on the topc of me and my needs in fourth grade at SD Negeri 060907 Pasar Senen. It can be concluded that implementing the project based learning (PjBL) model can improve student learning outcomes.

Analisis Penggunaan Metode Read Aloud Terhadap Minat Baca Siswa Kelas III SD Negeri 101751 Klambir V

This study aims to see the impact of using the Read Aloud method on students' reading interest. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include distributing questionnaires on students' reading interest which shows the impact of using the Read Aloud method on students' reading interest with an average increase of 72%, interviews with class teachers who found that students' learning activities, especially in reading activities, had a very good impact. This can be seen from the increasing enthusiasm of students, as well as the reading participation shown by students, and observation sheets for teacher teaching activities which show that the use of Read Aloud will have a good impact on students' reading interest when carried out according to the stages that should be. With a total of 30 students as participants. The data in this study were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it was found that (1) the Read Aloud method can have an impact on students' reading interest, this can be seen from the percentage of students' reading interest which grew by 72% (2) students like learning using the Read Aloud method.

Student activity is crucial and essential in the classroom for the continuity of learning. Learning can be considered successful when students give positive responses. As good learners, it is important to demonstrate behaviors that are in line with Pancasila values in everyday life, which is part of the Pancasila education subject. This study aims to improve the activity of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 060827 Medan Amplas in Pancasila education learning through the use of Word Wall media. Data collection was carried out through observation, notes, and documentation using a Teacher research with a descriptive method. The research subjects were 31 students in grade V of SD Negeri 060827 Medan Amplas. Based on the findings of the research conducted in two cycles, the average percentage of student activity in cycle 1 was 53% and in cycle 2 was 84%, indicating an increase from the actions taken in cycle 2. Thus, it can be concluded that the Word Wall learning media can increase student activity in Pancasila education subjects in grade V of SD Negeri 060827 Medan Amplas.

PENGARUH CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE TEACHING TERHADAP PARTISIPASI DAN MOTIVASI SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS V SDN 060812 MEDAN

Learning is often considered less engaging by some students, especially when the methods used are not relevant to their cultural background. The lack of student engagement in learning can lead to low motivation and participation. One approach that can address this issue is culturally responsive teaching (CRT). This approach emphasizes integrating students' cultural values into the learning process, making students feel more valued and motivated. This study aims to determine the effect of culturally responsive teaching on student participation and motivation in Social Science and Natural Science (IPAS) learning in fifth-grade students at SDN 060812 Medan. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) with 20 fifth-grade students as the subjects. The Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) for individual students in IPAS is 75, while the KKM for the class is 80%. Data were collected through student activity observation sheets, motivation questionnaires, and test results. Data analysis was performed using percentage techniques. The results of the study show a significant increase in student participation and motivation. In the first cycle, student participation reached 68.50% (good category), while student motivation was 70.25% (good category). In the second cycle, participation increased to 74.00% (good category), and student motivation reached 76.50% (good category). In the third cycle, a more significant improvement was observed, with student participation reaching 85.50% (very good category), and student motivation reaching 88.00% (very good category). Therefore, the implementation of culturally responsive teaching was proven effective in improving student participation and motivation in IPAS learning in fifth grade student at SDN 060812 Medan.

PEMANFAATAN APLIKASI LIVEWORKSHEET DALAM PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR SISWA PADA PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DI KELAS V SD NEGERI 060827 MEDAN AMPLAS

This research is motivated by the lack of student learning activity in grade V of SDN 060827 Medan Amplas, especially in pancasila education. The purpose of this study was to improve learning by increasing student learning activity through the use of the LiveWorksheet application in grade V of SDN 060827 Medan Amplas. The subjects of this study were 31 students, consisting of 16 boys and 15 girls. This research was a Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model with the steps of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques used non-test techniques. The non-test instrument was an observation sheet to measure the level of student learning activity. The data obtained from the observation was qualitative data and was converted into a quantitative scoring form based on the number of students.

Pengembangan Media Articulate Storyline Berbasis Saintifik Pada Tema 4 Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat Di Kelas II SD PAB 22 Patumbak Deli Serdang

This study aims to: (1) To find out how the process of developing Artculate Storyline media based on the Scientific model on theme 4 clean and healthy living can be applied to grade II students of SD Persatuan Amal Bakti 22 Patumbak. (2) To find out how feasible the Artculate Storyline media based on the Scientific model on theme 4 clean and healthy living can be applied to grade II students of SD Persatuan Amal Bakti 22 Patumbak. This study is a type of research and development with reference to the ADDIE model which stands for Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of the validation of the responses of grade II teachers can be seen that the quality of the articulate storyline media on the theme of clean and healthy living gets a percentage of 85%. The results of the assessment validation by media experts get 96% of 13 statements. The results of the assessment validation by material experts get a score of 95% of 10 statements. The results of the student response assessment validation get 95% of 8 statements. The developed articulate storyline can be applied as an initial step for the teaching and learning process in schools, thus the articulate storyline on the theme of clean and healthy living shows very valid or very feasible criteria.
