As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

A manuscript intended for submission to JPRONUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Profesi Guru Nusantara should be based on the results of recent research, utilizing either a quantitative or qualitative approach within formal, informal, or nonformal educational contexts.

Authors have the option to write manuscripts in either Indonesian or English. It is recommended that authors prioritize accuracy, including the use of proofreading services. While the main body of the manuscript can be written in either English or Indonesian, the abstract and keywords must be written in both languages, especially for Indonesian writers. The language and styles used in the manuscript are considered as aspects of manuscript evaluation. Authors are strongly advised to carefully review the manuscript and seek the assistance of a reliable language editor before submission. Additionally, authors bear the responsibility of avoiding plagiarism at all costs. The editor of JPRONUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Profesi Guru Nusantara assesses text resemblance using computer software (e.g., Turnitin), with a tolerance limit not exceeding 20%.

Generally, an article should be between 5 and 8 pages in length, inclusive of the title, abstract, tables, and references. The article should be typed in Microsoft Word with a line spacing of 1.15, using Book Antiqua font type, size 12, in a single column in .doc, .docx, or .rtf format (not in PDF format). Page numbers are not required. The main body of the article should comprise four main sections: introduction, method, findings and discussion, and conclusion.
