PEMANFAATAN PODCAST SEBAGAI MEDIA ALTERNATIF DALAM PENYAMPAIAN MATERI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract
This study aims to explore the use of podcasts as an alternative medium in delivering Islamic education materials. With the advancement of digital technology and the increasing popularity of podcasts, there is an opportunity to optimize this platform as a means of education. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of podcasts in delivering Islamic education materials compared to conventional methods. Data was collected through interviews with educators and learners, as well as analysis of several podcast episodes focusing on Islamic education topics. The results of the study show that podcasts can increase student engagement and understanding due to their flexible and accessible format. In addition, podcasts offer the opportunity to integrate multimedia elements that can enrich the learning experience. However, challenges such as audio quality and accessibility are important factors to consider. The study concluded that podcasts have the potential to be an effective alternative medium in Islamic education, with recommendations for further development and improvement of production quality.
