Abstract

Islamic boarding schools, as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, have undergone significant transformations in recent decades. One of the main aspects of this transformation is the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the learning process and management of Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to analyze the impact of ICT integration on the effectiveness of education in Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is qualitative with a library research. The results show that the implementation of ICT has improved the quality of learning, expanded access to educational resources, and facilitated more efficient management. However, the study also identifies challenges faced in the integration process, including infrastructure limitations and resistance to change among teachers and students. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy is needed to overcome these obstacles and ensure that ICT integration can optimally contribute to the transformation of pesantren education.
