The Role of Leadership in the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in Kadudampit Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java

Abstract
Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) is a conditional cash transfers program by the Ministry of Social Affairs as an effort to accelerate poverty reduction in Indonesia. In practice, to make Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) more effective and efficient, an area/village is divided into several beneficiary groups led by a group leader. This study aims to describe the role of leadership by group leaders in the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in Kadudampit Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach methodology with descriptive research and data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The types and sources of data used in this study are primary data. The results of this study indicate that the PKH group leader has a very important role in supporting the success of PKH, namely the PKH group leader influences the group (members) to achieve common goals related to Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). The indicators or qualifications that must be possessed by a leader are objectivity, communication and social agility, assertiveness, self-awareness, and teaching so that Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in Kadudampit Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java can succeed and function properly.
