Policy on GenAI
The journal permits the responsible use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools to support manuscript preparation, including language editing, grammar correction, translation, and improving clarity and readability. Authors may also use these tools to assist with organizing ideas and refining academic writing, provided that the intellectual contributions, originality, and scientific accuracy of the manuscript remain the authors’ responsibility.
However, GenAI tools must not be used to fabricate or manipulate research data, generate false references or citations, misrepresent research findings, or produce misleading scientific content. Authors must not present AI-generated material as entirely their own intellectual work without appropriate disclosure. The use of GenAI to replace essential scholarly judgment, research validation, or critical interpretation is prohibited. AI tools cannot be credited as authors, and all authors remain accountable for the originality, validity, and integrity of their submitted manuscripts.
Authors must disclose any substantive use of GenAI in accordance with the journal’s submission requirements. Such disclosure should identify the tool used and explain its role in manuscript preparation. The journal reserves the right to evaluate potential violations of this policy to maintain research ethics and publication integrity.
