Author Guidelines
General Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be written in English and have never been published or are in the process of being submitted for publication in other media and do not contain plagiarism.
- Manuscripts can be in the form of research, case studies, or literature studies.
- Authors must be registered as authors. Registration and submission guidelines are at the bottom of this page.
- The manuscript will be published in Addaba: Journal of Islamic Religious Education after peer review.
- Manuscripts must be written in accordance with the Author Guidelines and Template. Writing templates can be downloaded here
Manuscript Preparation and Structure of the Manuscripts
- (Title). The title should be short, clear and informative, but not exceed 15 words. It should be related to the topic being discussed. Article titles should not contain unusual abbreviations. The main topic should be written first, accompanied by an explanation, it does not need to include the place or year of research.
- (Name of author and institution). The author's name must be accompanied by the author's institution, institutional address, and email address, without academic title or position.
- (Abstract). Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. The abstract should be one paragraph consisting of 150-200 words. It should include the article's main question, problem, methods, discussion of findings, and keywords (3-5 phrases).
- (Background). The background must contain (briefly and sequentially) the general background, gaps and research methods.
- (Content). This section consists of research results and analysis. The results obtained from research must be supported by sufficient data. The results must answer the research question or relate to the research hypothesis in the introduction.
- (Conclusion). This section should discuss the research objectives and research findings. A closing statement should not only include a repetition of findings and discussion or an abstract; it should also propose potential studies and indicate studies in progress.
- (Reference). The literature listed in the Bibliography only contains sources referred to or included in the article. Use Mendeley as an application. Sources should consist of 10-20 references from books, proceedings and research results. Eighty percent of referenced journal articles must be published in the last 10 years and priority should be given to journal articles of international reputation, as seen in the following example:
