Abstrak
Lifelong education is a concept that underlines the importance of continuous learning throughout one's life. From an Islamic perspective, this concept has a strong foundation which is reflected in various hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. These hadiths emphasize the importance of seeking knowledge from the cradle to the grave, showing that education is not limited to a certain age or stage of life. This research explores the concept of lifelong education based on a hadith perspective, by highlighting teachings that encourage Muslims to continue seeking knowledge and improving themselves. In the hadith, knowledge is considered as a light that guides humans towards truth and wisdom, as well as a means to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter. This abstract explains how relevant hadiths can be interpreted and implemented in the context of modern education. By understanding this concept, individuals can develop a more holistic approach to learning, which includes spiritual, moral, and intellectual aspects. This research also highlights how the principles of lifelong education in the hadith can support personal and professional development, as well as contribute to the development of a more knowledgeable and cultured society.
