PHILOLOGY (Journal of English Language and Literature) applies a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, relevance, and academic integrity of all manuscripts submitted for publication. Upon submission, each manuscript is initially evaluated by the editorial team to assess its suitability for the journal's focus and scope, compliance with the author guidelines, and adherence to publication ethics. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then sent to at least two independent reviewers who have expertise in the relevant fields of English language and literature. The journal employs a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, significance, theoretical foundation, research methodology, accuracy of analysis, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the development of knowledge in English language and literature. Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor makes one of the following decisions: acceptance without revisions, acceptance with minor revisions, major revisions and resubmission, or rejection. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers' comments and editorial recommendations within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation to ensure that the required improvements have been adequately addressed. The final decision regarding publication rests with the editor, taking into consideration the reviewers' assessments and the overall quality of the manuscript. The editorial team is committed to conducting the peer-review process fairly, objectively, confidentially, and transparently, without discrimination based on the authors' nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, or other personal characteristics. All participants in the review process are expected to maintain confidentiality, disclose potential conflicts of interest, and uphold the principles of publication ethics.
