Metode Perkalian Silang Versus Metode Perkalian Latis

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tanggapan siswa terhadap metode perkalian silang dengan metode perkalian latis serta perolehan waktu tercepat dari pengerjaan soal operasi perkalian siswa kelas V di MI Al Ittihadiyah Tanjung Morawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan populasi siswa kelas V. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes diagnosis, tes treatment, tes evaluasi, dan wawancara. Adapun prosedur penelitian terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu : tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes diagnostik, tes treatment, posttest dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang telah diberikan proses pengajaran antara metode perkalian silang dengan metode perkalian latis yaitu metode perkalian latis yang banyak disenangi siswa dan perolehan waktu tercepat yaitu 10 detik.
