PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK BERBASIS KARAKTER

Abstract
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) pada pembelajaran Tematik di Sekolah Dasar (SD) kelas III. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan: potensi masalah, mengumpulkan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan lembar kerja siswa berbasis karakter yang cocok digunakan untuk pembelajaran tematik kelas III; (2) dan mengetahui efekrivitas dari penerapan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis karakter melalui pretes dan postes. pengambilan data dilakukan di SD Negeri 050763 Gebang. Fase penelitian adalah mendefinisikan, merancang, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan. Tingkat kelayakan lembar kerja siswa diperoleh dari validator ahli dan validator praktisi yang dianalisis. Setelah divalidasi dan direvisi, produk diuji secara terbatas pada siswa. Hasil uji coba terbatas kemudian dianalisis untuk menentukan kelayakan lembar kerja siswa dari sudut pandang siswa. Tes dilakukan setelah melakukan perbaikan dari hasil uji coba terbatas. Hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen (kelas yang menggunakan LKPD berbasis karakter) diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 63,24 dan postes sebesar 90,40. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol (kelas yang menggunakan LKPD sekolah) diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 56,60 dan postes 71,80. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis karakter untuk siswa kelas III SD efektif untuk digunakan setelah dilakukan uji coba melalui tes dan observasi.
