Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the use of teaching tools
within the Merdeka Curriculum on the accounting learning outcomes of Grade X
students at SMK Al-Washliyah 3 Medan. The research method employed is a
quasi-experimental design using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data
collection techniques included questionnaires and learning outcome tests. The
results of data analysis indicate a significant positive effect of the use of teaching
tools on students’ learning outcomes, as shown by the linear regression coefficient
of 0.3272 and a t-value of 40.9, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.734.
The conclusion is that the use of teaching tools in the Merdeka Curriculum
significantly improves students’ accounting learning outcomes. The implication of
this study highlights the importance of using effective teaching aids to enhance
the quality of learning.
