Abstract

Mathematics learning is currently due to covid 19 (Corona Virus Disease) so learning is very inefficient and cannot meet face to face between teachers, students and their friends. The focus of this research is to determine the impact of covid-19 on middle school mathematics learning first. This research was conducted by interviewing several teachers and junior high school students. This research was conducted to find out how the impact of Covid-19 on junior high school mathematics learning. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted by several teachers and students in school Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta 32 (MTsS 32) Al-Wasliyah Sei Bamban. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. Like it or not, this online learning system must continue in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Because, it is impossible for students to be allowed a long holiday until they wait for the Covid-19 pandemic to end. Online learning is very helpful in continuing the teaching and learning process amid the co-19 pandemic. Almost all schools carry out the learning process online so that education can continue.
