Analisis Kemampuan Siswa Dalam Proses Belajar Matematika Dengan Menggunakan Metode Steam Pada Peserta Didik Kelas IV Di SD Negeri 101931 Perbaungan
Abstract
This study aims to analyze students' abilities in learning mathematics using the STEAM method for fourth grade students at SD Negeri 101931 Perbaungan. This research is qualitative in nature. The participants in this study were 19 teachers and 18 students of Class IV SD Negeri 101931 Perbaungan as many as 28. The analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis, namely data obtained from various sources, using various data collection techniques. (triangulation), which is carried out continuously. Based on the research results from the distribution of questionnaires for the use of the STEAM learning method distributed to teachers, it is known that teachers who strongly agree with all statements are 10 people or 52.6%. Teachers who answered agreed as many as 4 people or 21.1%. Teachers who answered disagree were 1 person or 5.3% and teachers who answered strongly disagreed were 4 people or 21.1%. This proves that the use of the STEAM learning method really needs to be implemented because it has a good impact on students. Based on the research it is also known that the ability of students in the teaching and learning process with the STEAM method is already effective. This can be seen from the number of students who answered strongly agree and agree from the questionnaire given. As for students who stated that they strongly agreed on all the statements given there were 6 people or 33.3%. Students who answered agreed were 8 people or 44.4% and teachers who answered disagree were 4 people or 22.2%. This proves that students are able to carry out the learning process with the STEAM learning method.
