Abstrak

The research aims to uncover the poetry of Soni Farid Maulana (born February 1962, Tasikmalaya, West Java) with a metaphoric and semantic approach. There are three collections of the poet's poems which are taken as representing a number of metaphorisms in the theory of Halley, metaphors, 1980) Literary works (poetry) are formed from imaginative processes and also objective reality processes. This simple research is expected to be able to possess the usefulness and sustainability of literary research, especially the study of literary criticism and at the same time sightseeing in the fascinating and tempting Indonesian literary gardens.
