Abstrak
This study aims to identify the potential of culinary tourism in Pasar Senggol, Bangoan, Kedungwaru, as a means of improving the local economy. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and in-depth interviews with business actors in the market. The results of the study indicate that cheap product prices are the main attraction for consumers from various groups. In addition, the variety of products offered, such as traditional foods, market snacks, and special drinks, provide their own added value. Business actors said that their turnover increased every time the night market was held, indicating a positive impact on their daily income. The main supporting factors include strategic location, lively atmosphere, and customer loyalty. However, obstacles were also found such as limited space and limited operating hours. This study concludes that Pasar Senggol has strong potential as a culinary tourism destination that can encourage the economic growth of the local community. Therefore, support from various parties is needed to optimize the role of this market in a sustainable manner.
