DIGITAL SECURITY LITERACY TRAINING AT SLAMET RIYADI UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The rapid growth of internet users in Indonesia has both positive and negative impacts. The positive impacts, among others, are increasingly inclusive banking services, a rapidly growing digital economy, and easier financial and non-financial transactions. But there are also many negative sides, namely the theft of personal data, the spread of hoaxes through social media, hacker interference with government websites and financial institutions are just some of the increasing threats of cybercrime. This seminar provides students of the Slamet Riyadi University in Surakarta with basic cybersecurity knowledge, with the aim of strengthening students' knowledge on protecting themselves from increasingly massive cybersecurity threats. The Results of this seminar are the increasing awareness and capacity of students in dealing with cyber threats.
