Pengembangan Kompetensi Guru dalam Merancang Pembelajaran Bermakna melalui STEAM Berbasis Kearifan Lokal

Abstract
Teacher competency development is a critical factor in improving the quality of learning in schools. However, many teachers still face challenges in designing learning experiences that integrate multiple disciplines in a contextual manner while effectively utilizing local wisdom as a learning resource. This community service program aimed to enhance the competencies of teachers at SMA Unggulan Ummurahmah Patumbak in designing meaningful learning through a local wisdom based STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach. The program was implemented through conceptual workshops, hands on learning design activities, collaborative discussions, and reflective sessions. The participants consisted of 20 teachers from various subject areas. Program evaluation was conducted using pretests and posttests, activity observations, and assessments of the learning tools developed by the participants. The results indicated improvements across all measured competency aspects, with the average score increasing from 53.8% in the pretest to 88.8% in the posttest.
