Abstract
Introduction: The application of criminal sanctions to children who commit criminal acts is different from that of adults who commit criminal acts. In the process of resolving children's cases, that is, they are transferred from formal courts to non-formal channels, in the process of resolving the cases. Diversion helps children avoid bad things that can interfere with their development and their future. Public knowledge regarding the resolution of children's cases through diversion efforts is still minimal, so to solve this problem, legal education regarding the resolution of children's cases is urgently needed.Purposes of Devotion: The main objective of the service carried out is to provide views and understanding to PGRI Rutah Middle School students regarding the process of resolving children's cases through diversion.Method of Devotion: The method used in this service activity is the method of presenting the material followed by a question and answer session. Results of the Devotion: In the results obtained, it was discovered that many of them did not understand their rights when dealing with the law. PGRI Rutah Middle School students showed enthusiasm, providing legal counseling related to children in conflict with the law, giving them legal education related to resolving children's cases through diversion. The criminal sanctions applied to children who commit criminal acts are not the same as those applied to adults who commit criminal acts.
