Abstract

This study aims to quantitatively examine the nominal influence of Qard contract financing distributed by Sharia Microfinance Institutions (LKMS) of Bank Waqf Micro Mawaridussalam on the productivity of micro business customers. Qardh financing, which has a social principle without interest, is a solution initiated to fight loan shark practices and empower the poor around Islamic boarding schools. The research method uses a causal associative quantitative approach. Data was obtained from 20 active customers through nominal financing documentation and a questionnaire to increase operating profits. Data analysis was carried out by Simple Linear Regression. The results of the study show that Qardh Financing Nominal has a significant and positive effect on Customer Productivity. The determination coefficient (R2) shows that 95.0% of the variation in productivity increase is explained by the Qardh Financing Nominal. Each increase in the loan nominal of IDR 1,000,000 (one million Rupiah) increases the average customer's profit by IDR 260,000. Despite the strong influence, it was found that the average increase in profit is still relatively small, implying constraints on the limited BWM funds, so that a nominal increase in future financing is suggested to have a more transformative economic impact
