DAMPAK IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH (PBM) DALAM MATEMATIKA: KAJIAN LITERATUR

Abstract
Matematika adalah subjek yang berhubungan dengan dunia nyata dan diterapkan di berbagai bidang. Namun, pengajaran dan pembelajaran matematika lebih prosedural dan membutuhkan drill dan praktek. Untuk alasan ini, siswa matematika menjadi penerima pasif yang tidak mampu untuk berpikir matematis. literatur menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis Masalah (PBL) adalah pendekatan berpusat pada siswa yang mampu merangsang pemikiran siswa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyelidiki pelaksanaan PBL di tingkat sekolah dan dampak pembelajaran matematika melalui PBL di sekolah . Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa PBL memberikan dampak positif pada siswa sekolah menengah dalam matematika dan pendekatan itu ditemukan dapat diterapkan di berbagai domain pengetahuan dalam matematika. Namun, Peran guru harus dieksplorasi secara bersamaan dengan penggunaan komputer dalam pembelajaran dan durasi pelaksanaan PBL harus dipertimbangkan berdasarkan pada faktor waktu sehingga tujuan kurikulum matematika dapat tercapai. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa PBL mampu meningkatkan siswa berpikir dan memcahkan masalah dalan kehidupan nyata, yang diperlukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan masa kini.
