Peningkatan Kemampuan Siswa OSIS dalam Pengelolaan Media Sosial Sekolah Melalui Pendampingan Konten Kreatif di SMAN 1 Penebel

Social media is one of the most effective promotional tools today. At SMAN 1 Penebel, student organization members use social media to promote their school, but many still lack the skills to create engaging content. This community service activity aims to improve students’ ability to use social media as a promotional tool. The activity uses a Design Thinking approach with five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. In the empathize stage, interviews were conducted with students and teachers to identify existing issues. In the define stage, a vote was held to select one main problem. During ideation, team members proposed solution ideas. In the prototype stage, a prototype was designed as a basis for implementation, and in the test stage, it was validated. The implementation was carried out through practice-based training, where students were directly taught how to create content. Evaluation results from questionnaires showed that most students responded “fairly understand” and “fully understand” with the highest understanding in video editing applications and scriptwriting. It can be concluded that the majority of OSIS students improved their ability to use social media as a school promotional medium.

Community service is an activity organized by the campus to implement the knowledge acquired by students, especially the knowledge acquired during their studies at the campus. In this context, this positive activity aims to directly educate students to engage with the community and develop Islamic moral values in the area. Nagori Kebun Sayur Village, Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, has a population of 1,148. The program implemented was to implement Islamic character through teaching and competitions on the Qur'an and Adhan as a strategic effort to build a young generation with noble character and based on Islamic values. This community service activity was carried out using a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of illustrating and describing the implementation of Islamic character through Islamic teaching and competitions held over a period of 14 days, with children as the main focus of this program. They were taught how to read the Qur'an properly and correctly and were guided using the talaqqi method (reading in front of the teacher and then being corrected) and the tikrar method (repeating the reading together), while the teaching of the adhan was carried out using the direct practice method.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the service sector in Gurgur Aekraja Village facesignificant challenges in preparing financial reports that comply with accounting standards. A lack of understanding of financial recording and reporting has led to weak business management and limited access to formal financial services. This study aimsto improve the quality of MSME financial reporting through outreach activities and the implementation of the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through observation, semi- structuredinterviews, anddocumentation. The outreach was conducted in a participatory manner, includingthe presentation of SAK EMKM materials, case study discussions, anddirect assistance inpreparing basic financial statements such as income statements and cash flow reports. The results of the study indicate a significant increase inparticipants’understanding and skills inpreparing financial statements. The implementation of SAK EMKM not only enhances transparency and accountability but also strengthens the ability to make better financial decisionsin daily business operations. In conclusion, the outreach and implementation of SAK EMKM proved effective in improving the quality of MSME financial reporting in Gurgur Aekraja Village. The implications of this study suggest that an educational and participatory approach can be replicated in other villages as a sustainable model for empowering MSMEs.

PELATIHAN DESAIN GRAFIS SEBAGAI STRATEGI PENGUATAN KAPASITAS KREATIVITAS DAN LITERASI VISUAL MAHASANTRI

Graphic design skills are important for students in the digital age. However, students at UPKM El-Ma'rifah UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang still face limitations in their theoretical and technical understanding. This community service program aims to enhance the graphic design capabilities of students through structured training based on the observe, imitate, modify method. The program was implemented using a hybrid training and empowerment model, attended by 37 students on November 2, 2024. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test instruments to measure participants' cognitive understanding and satisfaction. The results of the community service showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of graphic design, with an average score increasing from 2.7 (pre-test) to 4.1 (post-test), an increase of 51.9%. The indicators with the highest increase were understanding of the concept of negative space (62.5%) and the principles of color aesthetics (60.0%). The participants' satisfaction level with the training was 94.6%. The majority of participants stated that the training provided technical insights that they did not obtain during their self-taught graphic design learning. This community service contributed to strengthening the creative capacity of students to produce professional and competitive visual content in the digital era.

PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT (PHBS) MELALUI EDUKASI PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI BOMBA

Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) merupakan indikator penting dalam upaya pencegahan penyakit menular di lingkungan sekolah dasar, sehingga edukasi terstruktur diperlukan untuk meningkatkan literasi kesehatan siswa sejak usia dini. Anak usia sekolah merupakan kelompok yang rentan terhadap penyakit berbasis perilaku, sehingga intervensi pendidikan kesehatan memiliki dampak signifikan dalam membentuk kebiasaan hidup sehat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan PHBS pada siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Bomba melalui penyuluhan, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung sebagai bentuk metode edukasi aktif. Pengukuran dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa setelah intervensi edukatif. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa mengenai PHBS setelah mendapatkan intervensi, yang ditunjukkan oleh perubahan perilaku sehat dalam aktivitas harian. Program edukasi ini terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran kesehatan, terutama pada aspek kebersihan diri, kebersihan lingkungan, dan pencegahan penyakit menular, serta mendorong terciptanya budaya hidup sehat yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah.

Community service activities through international volunteer programs are one form of contextual learning that involves cross-cultural interaction. This article aims to describe cross-cultural communication practices in community service activities conducted at Project Wings Sumatra. The method used was a qualitative descriptive approach through direct observation, active participation, and documentation during the Field Work Practice (PKL) activities. The results indicate that interactions between local and international volunteers not only enhance English language communication skills but also foster an understanding of cultural differences, communication patterns, and social values. Furthermore, environmental education, waste management, and organic farming activities serve as effective platforms for strengthening cross-cultural communication in practical settings. These findings suggest that international volunteer-based service programs make a significant contribution to the development of students’ communication competencies and global awareness.

SOSIALISASI LITERASI DIGITAL GUNA MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN DIGITAL PADA SISWA MA KALIFA NUSANTARA

This community service study was conducted because students’ digital literacy was still low, which could lead to hoaxes, cyberbullying, misuse of personal data, and irresponsible social media behavior. The activity aimed to improve MA Kalifa Nusantara students’ understanding of data security, digital ethics, and the productive use of technology. The implementation was carried out offline through interviews with the school and the delivery of interactive materials, including lectures, demonstrations, videos, posters, and active discussion. It was then evaluated by comparing pre-test results from students who did not receive the socialization with post-test results from students who did. The results showed a significant improvement in understanding, indicated by an increase in the average score from 76.17% in the pre-test group to 93.36% in the post-test group, reflecting a real positive change in students’ daily digital literacy practices. The greatest improvement was found in the ability to distinguish true and suspicious news, with an increase of 24.74%. Therefore, a structured and interactive digital literacy program proved effective in improving students’ knowledge, awareness, and wise attitudes in using the internet and social media.

This community service activity aims to develop a web-based Population Management and Regional Information System in Pedukuhan Banjeng. The primary issue identified was that population data management was still conducted manually, making it prone to recording errors, data duplication, and delays in information delivery. Through this community service initiative, a web-based system was designed and implemented to support population data recording, regional information management, and report generation in a more effective and efficient manner. The methods employed included observation, interviews with local administrative staff, system design, implementation, and user training for the partners. The results indicate that the developed system improves data management efficiency and facilitates easier access to information for the local administrators. With the implementation of this system, administrative processes have become more organized, transparent, and well-documented.

Peningkatan Kapasitas UMKM Dalam Penerapan e-Accounting Siapik dan e- Tax Coretax Di Umkm Desa Banjarwangi Kab. Bogor

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Banjarwangi Village, Bogor Regency, still face challenges in financial management and tax reporting due to low literacy and limited use of digital technology. This community service program aims to enhance MSME capacity through the implementation of SIAPIK e-Accounting and Coretax e-Tax. The program was conducted using a participatory approach consisting of preparation and coordination, initial condition assessment, training and socialization, implementation assistance, and evaluation. The activity involved 10 active MSMEs out of 20 invited participants. The results indicate an improvement in MSMEs’ understanding and skills in digital financial recording and tax administration. Technology acceptance evaluation using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) shows positive perceptions of ease of use and usefulness, along with behavioral intention and actual use of the applications. This program contributes to improving MSMEs’ financial and tax literacy and supports the strengthening of sustainable business governance.

This community service program aimed to enhance the managerial capacity and institutional governance of TK Muslimat Khodijah 157 Rogojampi through a series of intensive training sessions. The first session focused on strengthening managerial competence and institutional governance, while the second session emphasized leadership development, problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as the implementation of effective organizational practices. The program evaluation employed the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model to comprehensively assess the quality of implementation.The evaluation results indicate that the context and input components met all criteria related to planning and the provision of relevant resources. The process component proceeded according to the training design, characterized by active participation, interactive facilitation methods, and a supportive learning environment. In terms of product, participants demonstrated improved understanding and skills in institutional management, administrative structuring, and the application of more orderly and professional governance practices. Overall, the program successfully contributed to strengthening institutional quality and improving the competencies of the teaching staff. Moving forward, sustained mentoring and periodic monitoring are recommended to ensure the long-term implementation and integration of these improvements within the school environment.

This community service activity aimed to improve santri at RSCAS Makassar's understanding and skills in developing product packaging through the use of digital design applications. The initial problem identified was the use of packaging that was still simple and not optimal in presenting visual branding. The activity was implemented using a participatory learning and experiential learning approach involving 10 participants through the stages of preparation, training, and evaluation. The training focused on understanding the strategic role of packaging in marketing, the development of visual identity, and hands-on practice using the Canva application. The results showed an improvement in participants’ conceptual understanding of packaging design, which enhances participants’ digital literacy, creativity, and independence in developing packaging designs. This community service activity aims to increase the legal knowledge and awareness of the residents, specifically those of RT. 38 RW. 001 in Sungai Andai Village, to foster prudent behavior in using digital media in accordance with statutory regulations. Employing methods of presentation, discussion, Q&A, and case studies, the activity was executed as planned and met its objectives. Positive impacts were evident in the enhanced understanding and legal consciousness of the community, particularly among homemakers, regarding digital literacy and the provisions of the Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) Law. The achievement is reflected in the targeted participant attendance, their active engagement during sessions, and their ability to relate the presented material to legal issues encountered in daily life. This was demonstrated through various feedback and questions from participants concerning problems such as cyberbullying, defamation, the spread of hoaxes and indecent content, and efforts to prevent online gambling within the family. These conditions indicate that this legal outreach activity successfully addressed the community's real needs in tackling legal challenges in the digital era.

Abstract
This community service activity is part of the Regular Community Service Program (KKN) carried
out in Sei Suka Deras Village, Sei Suka Subdistrict, Batu Bara Regency. The focus of this activity is to
highlight the importance of literacy and the utilization of the Reading Corner as an enjoyable literacy
medium that sparks interest among elementary school students. It also includes a campaign to promote a
saving habit as part of financial education for students at SD Negeri 06 Sei Suka Deras. By providing
engaging and age-appropriate reading materials, students are introduced to basic financial concepts such
as the importance of saving from an early age, managing pocket money wisely, and distinguishing between
needs and wants. The activities were conducted through an educational and participatory approach to
foster reading habits and financial awareness from an early age. The results of this program show that the
Reading Corner successfully increased students' interest in reading and served as an effective medium for
delivering financial messages in a simple and enjoyable manner. Thus, the Reading Corner has the
potential to become an educational tool for financial literacy that is easy to understand and implement in
an elementary school environment.

Implementation of Solar-Powered FADs through the Kosabangsa Program in Pomolulu Village

The Kosabangsa Program in Pomolulu Village was implemented to address the low productivity and income of fishers due to traditional fishing methods. This program aimed to improve the capacity and welfare of fishers through the application of solar-powered fish aggregating devices (FADs). The method used was participatory training consisting of counseling and hands-on practice, including the introduction of FAD concepts, solar energy systems, and training on assembly, installation, and operation in the field. The results showed an implementation of FAD technology significantly improved fish catches, increasing fishers’ income from approximately IDR 3,000,000 per month to more than IDR 6,750,000 within a 10-day group harvest period. The program also enhanced technical skills and group collaboration in managing the technology. Therefore, the application of solar-powered FADs through a training-based approach proved effective in improving productivity, capacity, and welfare of fishers. This program is expected to be sustainable through institutional strengthening and continuous assistance.

Implementasi Program KKN dalam Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Desa Pematang Cengkering Melalui Bidang Pendidikan, Ekonomi, dan Pertanian

The Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of student engagement to integrate knowledge and skills for village empowerment. KKN Group 26 from Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah was conducted in Pematang Cengkering Village, Medang Deras Subdistrict, Batu Bara Regency, from July 14 to August 2, 2025. The program aimed to improve community quality of life through education, economy, and agriculture. The implementation method employed a participatory approach, involving college students, village officials, and community members. The programs included literacy tutoring Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic (calistung) for children, training on snack production, packaging, and marketing strategies for (UMKM), as well as the cultivation of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) as an effort to promote natural health self-sufficiency. The results showed increased interest in basic literacy among children, improved creative economic skills for housewives, and community awareness of TOGA utilization. In conclusion, the KKN program in Pematang Cengkering Village has made a positive contribution to community empowerment by strengthening educational capacity, supporting local economic growth, and fostering sustainable agricultural innovation.

PERAN KOMUNIKASI ORANGTUA DALAM MENGHADAPI EMOSI PADA ANAK DI DESA PEKUBUAN TANJUNG PURA LANGKAT

This community service activity aims to improve parents' understanding and communication skills in dealing with children's emotions in Pekubuan Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency. Problems faced by partners include parents' low understanding of children's emotional development, ineffective communication patterns, and high levels of negative emotional behavior in children such as tantrums and aggressiveness. The implementation method uses a participatory approach through stages of socialization, education, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity show a significant increase in parents' understanding (from 45% to 85%) of communication skills and a decrease in negative emotional behavior in children and provide parents with direct experience in dealing with children's emotional situations. This activity has proven effective in building positive communication patterns that support the emotional development of children in the village.

Early Islamic Financial Literacy as a Strategy to Increase Islamic Banking Market Share

The community service initiative at Pondok Pesantren Fadlilatul Munna, Magelang, focused on boosting Islamic banking market share through early financial literacy. The program aimed to transform students into agents of change for Indonesia's Sharia economy.

Execution & Content: Using a structured approach (pre-test, presentation, Q&A, and post-test), experts Arif Mulyawan and Rahmatul Arifin educated participants on:

Core Principles: Prohibitions on riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), and maisir (gambling).
Practical Application: The use of Sharia contracts (akads) in economic activities.

Results: While initial knowledge was low, post-test results showed significant improvement. Students engaged deeply, asking critical questions about banking costs and the Sharia status of cryptocurrencies.

Conclusion: Early education is a strategic necessity for the Islamic finance sector. The program recommends expanding these efforts to more youth to ensure the long-term growth of the Sharia financial ecosystem.

Community service activities represent one of the implementations of the Tri Dharma of higher education, aimed at providing tangible contributions to society. This program was conducted in Bumi Nabung Ilir Village, focusing on improving educational literacy, financial literacy, digital literacy, and social awareness within the community.

The program was motivated by several issues, including low literacy and numeracy skills among elementary students, limited understanding of financial literacy from an early age, insufficient awareness among adolescents in using digital media wisely, and a lack of reproductive health education for young women. Additionally, village development was supported through the construction of a hamlet monument as a regional identity.

The activities were carried out using a participatory approach, including field observations, socialization, counseling, tutoring, practical activities, and the development of village facilities. The target groups included elementary and junior high school students, village youth, and the local community.

The results indicate that the program had a positive impact, such as improved literacy and numeracy skills, increased awareness of saving from an early age, better understanding of responsible digital media use among adolescents, and enhanced knowledge of reproductive health among young women. The construction of the hamlet monument also strengthened regional identity and encouraged community participation in village development.

Overall, this program demonstrates that collaboration between university students, educational institutions, and the community can effectively enhance educational quality and social awareness.

Bullying is a serious issue in primary schools that can negatively affect students’ mental health and academic performance. This study aims to examine the prevention and intervention efforts against bullying at UPT SD Negeri 16 Sidomulyo through education and school-based programs. The research employed a case study method with a qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and policy analysis. The findings reveal that the school has implemented various measures, such as awareness campaigns, the formation of an anti-bullying team, and extracurricular activities that promote positive peer relationships. These efforts have increased students’ awareness, encouraged reporting, and strengthened coordination between teachers and parents. However, challenges remain, including a lack of full awareness among some students and teachers as well as limited parental involvement. Enhancing outreach and collaboration is essential to creating a safe, comfortable, and inclusive school environment.

Adequate nutrition plays a crucial role in supporting the growth and overall development of children in early childhood. Nutrients serve as essential components required by the body, particularly in promoting physical development, maintaining a healthy nervous system, enhancing brain function, shaping intelligence, and improving children’s intellectual abilities. Sufficient and balanced nutritional intake is an important prerequisite to ensure that children can grow and develop optimally according to their genetic potential. Moreover, fulfilling nutritional needs from an early age provides a strong foundation for long-term health, strengthens the immune system, and reduces the risk of nutritional problems and diseases in the future. This community service activity aims to detect early nutritional status problems in preschool children while providing education regarding the importance of consuming nutritious food. The methods used include health education on balanced diet through the balanced nutrition pyramid and nutritional status screening using anthropometric measurements. These measurements were carried out by assessing height, weight, Body Mass Index for age, as well as calculating the z-score. The results showed that out of 23 children examined, 74% or 17 children had normal nutritional status. This finding emphasizes the importance of regular nutrition monitoring, as the preschool years are a period of rapid growth. Visual education using the balanced nutrition pyramid is expected to help children recognize healthy foods, prevent malnutrition, and support optimal growth and development.

This research aims to analyze the influence of public service quality on community satisfaction at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Deli Serdang Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method sourced from various journals and scientific articles relevant to the research topic. The data is analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques by reviewing and comparing previous research findings. The analysis results show that the quality of public services affects the level of community satisfaction in population administration services. Some members of the public have expressed sufficient satisfaction with the services provided, particularly in the processing of civil registration documents such as Family Cards and e-ID cards. However, there are still several obstacles such as the timeliness of service, clarity of procedures, and limited service facilities. Therefore, the improvement of public service quality needs to be continuously carried out to enhance public satisfaction with population administration services.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan daya saing UMKM Bude Wagiyem di Kota Bengkulu melalui inovasi kemasan dan diversifikasi varian rasa kacang tojin. Permasalahan utama mitra adalah kemasan plastik biasa yang kurang menarik dan higienis serta keterbatasan varian rasa. Pendekatan partisipatif digunakan melalui tahapan observasi, wawancara, perencanaan, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Therefore, there is a need for legal counseling regarding the legal status of village apparatus in statutory regulations in order to provide understanding to the village head and village officials to minimize conflicts of interest in order to create better and more competitive village governance. The methods used in This counseling are carried out through lectures, discussions and questions and answers. This study concludes that the village head does not fully understand the regulations regarding dismissal and appointment of village officials by implementing this counseling, it is hoped that various practical problems such as inconsistencies in appointment and dismissal procedures village officials so that the potential for internal conflict can be minimized so that the process/dismissal becomes more transparent, objective and accountable.

Land and Building Tax (PBB) is one of the regional revenue sources that plays an important role in supporting regional development, including development at the village level. Community participation in paying Land and Building Tax is strongly influenced by the role of village governments in providing socialization, education, and administrative assistance to the community. However, in practice, several challenges are still found in increasing public awareness to fulfill tax obligations, particularly at the village level. This community service activity aims to improve public understanding of the importance of paying Land and Building Tax and encourage community participation in fulfilling tax obligations. The implementation method used a participatory approach through counseling, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and administrative consultation. The activity was conducted on July 15, 2025, at the Village Office Hall of Pringgasela with consisting of village officials, community leaders, and community representatives. The results showed that public understanding regarding the importance of paying Land and Building Tax improved after the activity. In addition, this activity identified several obstacles faced by the community in fulfilling tax obligations, such as limited understanding of payment procedures and low legal awareness. This activity contributes to increasing community participation in Land and Building Tax payments and supports regional revenue improvement.

This community service activity aims to enhance the creativity of students at SD Negeri 3 Renon, Denpasar, with the implementation of the Design Thinking framework. The background of this activity is based on the limited ability of students to think creatively and develop solutions to learning-related problems. The activity involved 50 fifth-grade students and was conducted over four learning sessions. The method used was a participatory approach, in which students were actively engaged in the five stages of Design Thinking: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The implementation was carried out through structured learning activities that encouraged students to identify problems, generate ideas, and design as well as test simple solutions. Evaluation was conducted using observation sheets and a creativity assessment rubric. The results showed an improvement in the average creativity score from 62 (moderate category) to 81 (good category). In addition, 85% of students demonstrated increased confidence in expressing their ideas and the ability to produce innovative solutions.In conclusion, the application of Design Thinking has proven to be effective in enhancing students’ creativity and critical thinking skills at the elementary school level, and it has the potential to serve as an innovative learning approach

This community service program aimed to establish a Partner Village by empowering and training Posyandu cadres, using TikTok as a platform to promote a local food innovation called NIKCAMBID (fish nuggets mixed with durian seed flour). The activity was conducted in Sei Naga Lawan Village, Serdang Bedagai Regency, using a participatory action research approach. Main activities included training in the production of nutritious food products, education on nutritional content, and digital promotion via TikTok. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in cadre knowledge and attitude (p<0.05), with an average knowledge score increase of 34.67 and attitude increase of 22.00. This activity contributes to public awareness of stunting prevention through the use of local food and digital media.

chili prices, which have led to increased household expenses for civil servants. This study aims to

analyze the program’s ef ectiveness in promoting family economic self-reliance through chili cultivation

in home gardens. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques

consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that this

program is capable of improving civil servants’ knowledge and skills in chili cultivation, as well as

encouraging the productive use of backyard land. Additionally, the program has proven to help reduce

household expenses and provide additional income opportunities from the harvest. Factors contributing

to the program’s success include technical assistance, the availability of production resources, and

active participant engagement. However, several challenges exist, such as civil servants’ limited time

and the impact of weather conditions on crop yields. Overall, the program is deemed ef ective in

strengthening the economic resilience of civil servants’ families and holds potential for broader

implementation in other regions.

The target participants are MSME actors assisted by Rumah BUMN Semarang who require capacity strengthening in business legality, business management, product branding, digital marketing, simple financial recording, and market networking. The results show that relevant empowerment forms include business problem mapping, thematic training, business clinics, digital practice assistance, legality facilitation, and collaborative network strengthening. The mentoring activities also encourage MSME actors to manage product identity, create promotional content, use digital channels, and prepare business development plans. This activity concludes that Rumah BUMN Semarang can function as an incubation space that strengthens MSME independence and competitiveness through structured, participatory, and continuous mentoring.

These conditions have resulted in the suboptimal realization of transparent and accountable village governance. This community service activity aims to describe and analyze the strengthening of public service delivery and public information disclosure based on community education within the governance practices of Sindangheula Village, Serang Regency. The approach employed is normative–empirical, conducted through the examination of statutory regulations in the fields of public services and public information disclosure, alongside the mapping of the empirical conditions of village public services through educational activities, participatory discussions, and mentoring for both village officials and the community. The results of this community service activity indicate an improvement in the understanding of both village officials and the community regarding their rights and obligations in public service delivery, the importance of public information disclosure, and its relation to the principles of transparency and accountability in village governance. The program was implemented systematically in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation, using a participatory and applicative approach. The planning stage included an initial assessment (pre-test), needs analysis, and the development of training modules covering the structure of scientific papers, problem formulation, simple literature review, basic research methods, and citation techniques. The implementation phase was conducted through interactive project-based workshops combined with hands-on drafting practice and intensive mentoring via writing clinics. Evaluation was carried out by comparing pre-test and post-test results and assessing the quality of students’ draft papers. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ understanding, increasing from 36% to 64% in conceptual aspects and from 28% to 88% in structural understanding. Furthermore, the quality of students’ writing improved in terms of organization, coherence, and formatting accuracy. The program proved effective in strengthening scientific literacy and fostering a sustainable academic culture within the school.

The stages of the activity included preparation, material introduction, business opportunity discussions, screen printing practice, and evaluation of student products. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ technical knowledge and skills, the growth of creativity in tote bag design, and an emerging interest in turning this skill into a business opportunity. The school’s response to this program was very positive, encouraging the continuation of similar initiatives. Challenges encountered included the relatively long drying time of the glue and limited tools and materials. Overall, this training not only produced tote bags with economic value but also to the development of students’ independence, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.

The rapid development of information technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 demands improved digital literacy among all groups, including students in rural areas. The Community Service Program (KKN) conducted by students of Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al Washliyah in Bogak Village, Tanjung Tiram Subdistrict, Batu Bara Regency, aimed to enhance digital literacy through training on the use of Canva for students of SMP Negeri 2 Bogak. This program also integrated technological education with environmental values to foster creativity, critical thinking, and ecological awareness.The method applied was experiential learning consisting of five stages: introduction, socialization, material delivery, practice, and evaluation. A total of 30 eighth-grade students actively participated in the training. The results showed significant improvement in students’ digital skills, creativity in producing environment-themed designs, and confidence in expressing ideas through visual media. However, several challenges were encountered, including limited internet access, lack of digital devices, and insufficient teacher training in technology use. Overall, the program demonstrates that integrating technology-based learning with environmental education can serve as an effective strategy to improve educational quality and shape the character of young generations in coastal areas.

The objective of this activity was to strengthen teachers' competence in understanding and implementing contextual Islamic economic-based Indonesian language literacy learning. The implementation method used a participatory and collaborative approach through the stages of coordination, socialization, concept reinforcement, directed discussions, and evaluation and reflection. The activity was carried out in the form of material presentations, interactive discussions, and providing examples of the integration of Islamic economic values in literacy learning. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of literacy as a contextual social practice and an increased awareness of integrating Islamic economic values such as honesty, trustworthiness, and responsibility in learning. Teachers also demonstrated a positive response and initial commitment to implementing value integration in literacy activities. Thus, this activity was effective in strengthening teachers' competence and supporting meaningful learning and contributing to the formation of student character according to the Pancasila Student Profile in elementary schools.

The student mentoring program in the National Scientific Essay Competition (NSEC) is designed to improve scientific literacy, critical thinking skills, and presentation skills of students through five systematic stages. This study aims to describe the mentoring process, which includes searching for innovative ideas, essay writing, work registration, internal assessment, and final presentation preparation, as well as analyzing its impact on students' competitive readiness. Mentoring is carried out through an academic scaffolding approach, collaborative discussions, rubric-based evaluation, and mock presentations as the main strategies for strengthening competencies. The results show that two students from Universitas Mandiri successfully entered the NSEC TOP 10 Finalists, which indicates the effectiveness of the mentoring model in improving the quality of work, scientific communication skills, and student confidence. In addition, the direct experience in the final presentation provided practice-based learning that broadened the academic insights of the participants. These findings confirm that structured mentoring can be a relevant and applicable strategy in improving students' academic capacity and preparing them for national-level scientific competitions.

The digital platform taught was the Instagram social media because it has complete features and is widely used by young people today. This program was carried out with a participatory approach through several stages of implementation, namely: 1) an initial meeting to agree on a collaboration for the community service activity with partners, 2) mapping the needs for digital da'wah, 3) creating digital content, and 4) providing guidance. This activity successfully enhanced the administrators' skills in digital da'wah and resulted in accounts and da'wah content using the Instagram platform. The Community Service Program (KKN) in Pematang Rambai Village, Batu Bara Regency, conducted by interdisciplinary students from Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah Medan, focused on community empowerment. Through methods of surveys, outreach, and training over 20 days, this program aimed to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Key activities included innovating local MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) products, raising awareness about stunting prevention at integrated health posts (posyandu), providing creative English education for children, creating village signposts, and conducting a dish soap making workshop. The results demonstrated a significant increase in the community's knowledge and skills, ranging from MSME management to health awareness. Additionally, children's motivation to learn increased, and village administration became more informative. Overall, this KKN successfully enhanced the residents' self-reliance, welfare, and quality of life, while also affirming the role of students as agents of social change who make a tangible contribution to the village's progress.

Pendampingan Perancangan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Terintegrasi untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Operasional dan Pengendalian Internal pada UMKM PetDiary

This community service activity aims to analyze and design an integrated accounting information system for PetDiary, an MSME currently relying on semi-manual recording. The implementation methods included direct observation, in-depth interviews with the owner, and a comprehensive system analysis using the PIECES framework (Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, and Service). The new system was designed based on the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. Analysis results revealed several weaknesses in the current system, including low financial data accuracy, daily operational inefficiencies, and a weak internal control structure that poses risks to business continuity. As a solution, a proposed "to-be" system was designed, integrating automated transaction recording and real-time inventory management. Furthermore, the design implements strict controls through separation of duties, authorization mechanisms, and audit trails to track data activity. The implementation of this system is expected to significantly improve financial information quality, optimize work efficiency, and support more accurate strategic decision-making for PetDiary's future growth.

PENGUATAN KOMPETENSI GURU SEKOLAH DASAR DALAM GAME BASED LEARNING MELALUI PROGRAM PKM KKN BERBASIS KAMPUS

The Community Service Program (PkM) through the Community Service Learning Program (KKN) at SDN Tanah Tinggi 05, Central Jakarta, was conducted to enhance elementary school teachers’ competencies in implementing integrated Game-Based Learning (GBL). This approach was designed to create a more interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful learning environment, thereby increasing student engagement and learning motivation. Furthermore, GBL supports the development of essential 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. The program was implemented through training sessions, mentoring activities, and hands-on practice in designing, implementing, and evaluating game-based learning strategies tailored to students’ developmental characteristics. It involved collaboration among lecturers, university students, and teachers within an integrated KKN framework aimed at promoting student-centered learning practices. The results indicated significant improvements in teachers’ pedagogical competence, creativity, and digital literacy, particularly in developing innovative learning media and instructional strategies based on educational games. Teachers became more capable of creating engaging and effective classroom experiences, which positively influenced student participation in learning activities. In addition to benefiting the school community, the program also provided valuable service-learning experiences for university students. Overall, the program contributed to improving the quality of elementary education while strengthening sustainable partnerships between higher education institutions and schools.
