Menciptakan Generasi Aman Berlalu Lintas Melalui Edukasi Keselamatan Transportasi Bagi Anak Usia Dini

Keselamatan transportasi merupakan aspek penting yang perlu diperkenalkan sejak usia dini untuk membentuk perilaku disiplin dan sadar hukum di jalan raya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan keselamatan berlalu lintas pada anak usia dini melalui pendekatan edukatif yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Bertempat di PAUD Tiara Hati, Semarang, kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 23 Mei 2025 dan melibatkan pelatihan guru, edukasi anak menggunakan alat peraga, serta simulasi menyebrang jalan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman anak terhadap rambu lalu lintas dan keselamatan jalan, serta kesiapan guru dalam mengintegrasikan materi tersebut ke dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi keselamatan transportasi berbasis alat peraga edukatif merupakan pendekatan efektif dalam menanamkan budaya tertib lalu lintas sejak dini.

The existence of bamboo in Indonesia is very abundant; in fact, it is easy to find bamboo in almost every region of Indonesia. In general, the shape of bamboo construction is not completely straight, so some people do not use bamboo as a pole or supporting material for building or construction purposes. From various studies, bamboo structures have been proven to have many advantages. It’s tough and elastic fibers are very good at withstanding loads (both compressive/tensile, shear, and bending loads). This service aims to provide information, understanding, and skills to the community about how to process and use bamboo for various purposes, especially for building poles and plant cultivation places. The technique is by straightening the shape of the bamboo so that the straightened bamboo can be used on a wider scale. Bamboo is straightened with a simple machine with the help of fire, so that the bamboo is easier to process. After the bamboo is straightened with the help of a machine equipped with a hydraulic device and heated using fire, the added value of the bamboo increases and can be used more widely.

The PKK women's group plays a crucial role in implementing environmental sustainability programs. However, the success of these programs heavily relies on the communication network established among its members. This study aims to analyze the form of communication network formed within the PKK women's group in environmental sustainability programs and to identify the actors occupying central positions in the communication network, focusing on elements such as Degree Centrality, Betweenness Centrality, and Closeness Centrality. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach involving 15 respondents who are members of the PKK women's group. Data collection techniques include questionnaires containing questions about the effectiveness of communication networks among PKK women's group members in implementing environmental sustainability programs. Additionally, the researcher collects data through observation to examine the communication patterns among members and administrators, providing insights into the dynamics within the group. The analysis technique used is Social Network Analysis (SNA) with the assistance of UCINET software.

This study aims to analyze the rights and obligations of spouses in marriage according to law and social norms in Indonesia. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and analysis of legal documents related to marriage. The results indicate that the rights and obligations of husband and wife in Indonesia are often imbalanced, with husbands being more inclined to act as breadwinners and wives bearing more household responsibilities. Additionally, the findings reveal a gap between written law and practice in the field. The conclusion suggests that better education for married couples about their rights and obligations is needed, as well as stricter law enforcement to ensure marriage equality.

Community service is a form of active participation in improving social welfare through the application of knowledge and skills to solve problems faced. Urban Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency is a division of Karang Gading Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra with a population of 750 people. The programs implemented concentrate on digital education and literacy, as an effort to provide a new atmosphere in teaching and learning methods, especially the use of information and communication technology as a learning medium. This community service activity is carried out with a Community Development approach which is carried out for 10 days. Where children are the main objects in this service. They are taught how to read the Qur'an properly and correctly, and guided with creative and innovative methods, they are directed to read and learn the Qur'an through Gadgets as a medium that contains the Qur'an learning application, ending with submitting their readings through Voice Note. This activity aims for children to be able to utilize and master the use of information and communication technology effectively in the process of learning to read the Qur'an, and the community in Urban Villages can produce quality education, superior and empowered children in the era of globalization.

Improving the quality of education in Indonesia greatly depends on teachers' competencies in designing and implementing effective and contextual learning. This study focuses on developing instructional design skills in teaching Indonesian Language using digital literacy among students of the Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGMI) at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Preliminary findings show that most PGMI students still rely on conventional methods that are less responsive to technological advancements and 21st-century literacy demands. To address this, a training program was conducted involving the development of technology-based teaching modules, collaborative workshops, and microteaching simulations integrating digital media. The training aimed to enhance students’ abilities to design relevant and innovative learning experiences, preparing them as competent future teachers in the digital era. The training method adopted a hands-on practice-based approach using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) model. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests, post-tests, questionnaires, and open-ended interviews to assess skill improvement and student perceptions. The results indicated a significant increase in students' ability to develop digital literacy-based teaching modules, along with improved confidence and creativity in designing adaptive 21st-century learning. These findings support the constructivist approach and the TPACK model, which integrates technology, pedagogy, and content in the learning process. This training not only enhanced students’ technical skills but also fostered their professionalism as reflective and innovative future educators. The study is expected to contribute to the development of teacher competencies better equipped to face the challenges of digital transformation in primary education.

Increasing awareness of religious communities is one of the main tasks carried out by the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Medan Perjuangan District. This research aims to develop an effective and sustainable religious outreach strategy to increase public understanding and awareness of religious values in everyday life. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that religious counseling that is participatory and based on community needs is more effective in creating changes in religious behavior. The proposed strategy includes strengthening the role of religious instructors as facilitators, preparing programs based on specific community problems, and using digital media to expand educational reach. By implementing this strategy, it is hoped that public awareness of the importance of religious values will increase, thus supporting the creation of social harmony and a better religious life.

This education accompanies the implementation of a digital payment system in the UINFAS Bengkulu canteen through a participatory approach involving canteen business actors, campus financial managers, students, and staff to evaluate technical feasibility and operational risk mitigation strategies. The results of the education show that the digital payment system is able to increase transaction efficiency by up to 30% and reduce financial recording errors due to human error, but its implementation faces obstacles in the form of limited understanding of business actors' technology, dependence on internet connectivity, and potential misuse of user data. To overcome these challenges, assistance is provided through digital training, transaction simulations, and the preparation of basic security protocols, so that this education recommends increasing digital literacy of canteen managers and establishing a community-based monitoring system to encourage the sustainability and effectiveness of the digital payment system in the campus environment.

Obesity in school-age children is an increasing health problem that has a long-term impact on children's physical and mental conditions. One effective prevention strategy is through early health education in the school environment. This community service activity aims to increase elementary school students' knowledge about obesity prevention through interactive and fun health education. The activity was carried out at SDN 02 Pamulang, South Tangerang, involving 140 5th grade students, four lecturers, and 14 nursing students. The methods used included anthropometric measurements (height and weight), educational game “Isi Piringku”, counseling using poster media, as well as pre-test and post-test. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' enthusiasm and knowledge of the importance of balanced nutrition and physical activity as an effort to prevent obesity. This activity also received full support from the school and teachers. As a follow-up, monitoring student health through the School Health Unit (UKS) is recommended to be carried out regularly to maintain the results that have been achieved. Strengthening the role of schools as an educational environment in the promotion of healthy lifestyles is key in efforts to prevent obesity from an early age.

Seminar on "Bringing Happiness into the Home: Practicing Joyfulness in Daily Life" was organized to provide participants, especially parents, with an understanding and practical skills to create a joyful atmosphere at home through the principles of joyfulness. This seminar aimed to equip participants with insights into the importance of happiness within the family and practical ways to strengthen relationships among family members. The methods used in this seminar included lectures, interactive discussions, practical exercises, and role-playing, designed to give participants direct experience in understanding and practicing the concept of joyfulness. The seminar results showed that 90% of participants had a good understanding of the importance of joyfulness and were ready to implement its principles in their lives. However, the main challenge faced was maintaining consistency in applying positive habits in daily life, especially amidst busy schedules and routines. This seminar also emphasized the importance of effective communication within the family and collaboration between parents and educators in creating an environment that supports family happiness. Overall, the seminar successfully provided a positive impact on participants by enhancing their understanding and skills in fostering happiness at home. With continuous commitment and the application of positive habits, participants are expected to build a harmonious, happy, and loving family.

The utilization of electrical energy to support human life activities, especially for lighting at night, is a basic need in urban and rural environments. In rural areas there are still many problems with the lack of lighting at night which has an impact on increasing the risk of accidents and crime. This community service aims to improve environmental safety through the implementation of an automatic-manual system for public street lighting that is reliable, efficient, and in accordance with electricity safety principles. This activity was implemented in the access road of Terbah hamlet, Pengasih, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta on May 17, 2025 by involving residents in all stages of observation, education, system installation and evaluation. The system is designed using light sensor and Magnetic Contactor for automation, panel box, MCB, Switch, Contact Box, Lamp, and accessories. Implementation methods included electrical safety counseling, hands-on system installation, and the use of modules as technical guides. The evaluation results showed an increase in residents' understanding of safe installation as well as the ability to maintain the lighting system independently. This activity makes a real contribution to the provision of simple sustainable electrical infrastructure and increases awareness of the importance of electricity safety in the community.

Furthermore, a socialization method is carried out, where in this socialization activity an explanation will be given to both the Health Center and patients about the use of the application that will be designed. The results of this activity are socialization regarding the Mobile application for the patient queuing system along with socialization of the procedures for using the application. Where after the implementation of this activity is carried out, the application that will be designed will make it easier for patients and patients no longer need to sit and queue for a long time when going to the Sako Health Center for treatment.

Student involvement in the school environment reflects the implementation of the Child-Friendly City policy. It serves as proof of the government's dedication to enforcing the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the mandate of the 1945 Constitution, particularly articles 28 and 31. Malang City approved the KLA Regional Regulation on May 14, 2024. This policy requires proper monitoring. The community service activity contributes to the supervision of implementing Child-Friendly Schools. This service promotes and strengthens student participation at SDN Tunjungsekar 4. This activity involves students in grades 1-3 as well as class teachers, lecturers, and students. Socialization is given by providing material about children, children's rights, and forms of student participation that can be done at school. Socialization activities are also followed by Question and Answer sessions and games to increase student enthusiasm. As part of this community service activity, we conducted a mapping of student participation at SD Tunjungsekar 4. The mapping results indicate that students have engaged in various activities at school, including daily duty schedules, Clean Fridays, class management competitions, and selecting extracurricular activities based on their interests, such as angklung, dance, pencak silat, and scouts. An additional form of participation is the art performance held to commemorate National Education Day, providing children with a space to unleash their creativity and self-expression. This type of participation should be continuously nurtured to enhance learning in schools and to support child-friendly education, as well as to strengthen the policies related to the development of Child-Friendly Cities.

Science literacy and reading literacy are two key competencies that not only support academic success but also prepare children to face global challenges in the 21st century. Science literacy includes the ability to understand scientific concepts, think critically, and apply that knowledge in everyday life. Meanwhile, reading literacy involves the ability to understand, analyze, and use information from written texts. Science literacy and reading literacy of elementary school children in Binjai Village are still low and need holistic education with interdisciplinary learning programs. This community service program aims to improve science literacy and reading literacy of elementary school children in Binjai Village through interdisciplinary learning. The implementation method in this community service activity is in accordance with the partner's problem, through training in interdisciplinary learning that includes aspects of science literacy and reading literacy in English and Arabic adapted from quantitative research methods with a one-class pretest-posttest design. This service was carried out in Binjai Village, Tebing Syahbandar District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. There were 30 elementary school children who participated in this activity. The results of this activity show an increase in science literacy and reading literacy of elementary school children in Binjai village.

Rural development based on agrotourism is booming in Indonesia to increase community income. The process of cultivating grapes as an agrotourism has stages from land preparation, variety selection, proper watering care, to the process of picking and processing the harvest. The Bangun Sari village community has begun to develop grape cultivation as one of the agrotourism objects. However, due to limited human resources and technology, the productivity of agrotourism plants in Bangun Sari village has not been going well. The results of the grape plants that are currently cultivated are not optimal and many grape plants have not grown well because the irrigation and watering system is not good according to plant needs. International community service activities carried out by lecturers at the Medan State Polytechnic and in collaboration with the Nilai Negeri Sembilan Malaysia Polytechnic aim to implement automatic irrigation methods for grape farmers in Medan City. Community service activities begin with the presentation of material on automatic irrigation and watering systems followed by the fabrication and installation process of equipment in the field. The results of this community service activity are in the form of increased knowledge and delivery of products in the form of automatic irrigation and watering installations that have been installed at the grape cultivation location. The construction of this automatic fertigation equipment can solve farmers' problems. Ultimately, increasing the fertility and yield of grape plants can have an impact on increasing income.

In the midst of efforts to build a literacy culture, Sanggar Genius Ar Rasyid has actually become a warm space for children to learn and grow. However, the post-pandemic reality shows a significant decline in their interest in reading. Children began to visit rarely. The atmosphere of reading becomes monotonous, activities feel less interesting, and the available facilities are not able to provoke their curiosity. Many of them feel bored, and the spirit of literacy is slowly fading. Seeing this condition, there is an awareness that children need something more than just books and ordinary reading. They need a touch of imagination, color, and lively engagement. So, the solution offered is to present Pop-Up Book media with the theme of folklore, combined with the read aloud technique, a way of reading stories that bring words to life through intonation, expression, and warm interaction. Training on making Pop-Up Books for studio administrators is also the starting point for change. The results were encouraging: the creativity of the administrators increased, fresh ideas popped up, and most importantly, the children were excited again. They not only read, but also hear, imagine, remember, and share stories together. The reading aloud technique makes reading moments more personal, builds closeness, and fosters a sense of love for books. Now, reading is no longer a boring activity.

Inovasi Produk Pudak “Lakarasa” Sebagai Strategi Pelestarian Kuliner Tradisional Gresik Berbasis Kearifan Lokal

Pudak is a traditional culinary product from Gresik that has begun to experience shifting consumer demand trends, especially among younger generations. This study aims to examine the product innovation of Pudak “Lakarasa” as a strategy for preserving traditional cuisine based on local wisdom. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, documentation, and interviews with local MSME producers of traditional Gresik souvenirs. The findings show that flavor innovation through the addition of ingredients such as dates successfully increases consumer interest in pudak. This innovation also preserves traditional production techniques, such as the use of ope and bamboo besek packaging, which are integral to local cultural identity. In addition to offering a new, softer, and more balanced taste, the product provides a more visually appealing consumption experience. Although the shelf life of this pudak is shorter due to the absence of preservatives, it becomes an added value in terms of health and product naturalness. Pudak “Lakarasa” not only expands the market segment but also serves as a tangible form of preserving local culinary heritage in Gresik. Future development plans include introducing strawberry and chocolate flavor variants to better align with modern consumer preferences and enhance the product’s competitiveness in both local and national souvenir markets.

Many people in Indonesia do not eat enough vegetables. This is a problem for public health. This study made and reviewed a business plan for a vegetable cereal product. The goal is to give people a healthy, easy, and nutritious food choice. The method used was qualitative, with interviews, observations, and collecting documents. The study took place in Surabaya with people of different ages. The result showed that the cereal, made from carrots, spinach, and tomatoes, was liked by many because it tasted good and was healthy. The product was sold using social media and online shops, which helped grow the business. The financial study showed a return on investment of 179.57% in six months. The product also reached break even at 28 portions sold. This cereal has the chance to help people eat better and also support local farmers and small businesses. The vegetable cereal is a good business idea and helps people live a healthier life.

In facing increasingly competitive market competition, Dwefh Dimsum combines both marketing approaches to reach consumers more widely. This study uses a descriptive qualitive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that online marketing strategies excel in terms of wide market reach and cost efficiency, while offline strategies are more effective in building personal relationships and customer loyalty. The combination of the two has proven to be an optiomal approach in improving the performance of UMKM business. The findings provide insight for culinary enterpreneurs in designing adaptive and responsive marketing strategies to market dynamics in the digital era.

This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of farmers in implementing optimal management of biri-biri goat farming as a strategy to strengthen local food security in Bakaran Batu Village, Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang Regency. Problems faced by partner communities include low technical knowledge of cultivation, not optimal feed systems, and minimal efforts to prevent livestock diseases. Assistance is carried out through a participatory approach involving technical training, field demonstrations, and regular evaluations of aspects of cage management, feed, and animal health. The results showed significant improvements in farm management practices. In the aspect of cage management, farmers began to apply routine sanitation, stage-floored cage design, and good ventilation. In feed management, farmers were able to utilize local agricultural waste to make fermented feed, thereby reducing production costs and improving feeding efficiency. In terms of animal health, farmers began to understand the importance of vaccination, periodic deworming, and the application of basic biosecurity to prevent infectious diseases. This activity proves that cultivation management interventions based on education and empowerment can significantly contribute to household and community food security. Thus, this mentoring model has the potential to be replicated in other rural areas with similar characteristics.

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world that has great potential in the development of Islamic finance, because the majority of the population in Indonesia is Muslim. However, the majority of the Muslim population is inversely proportional to the low level of Islamic financial literacy, which is a serious challenge, especially among Generation Z who are approaching marriage age. The lack of understanding and knowledge about Islamic-based family economic management is often a factor causing conflict and even divorce in young marriages. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve Islamic financial literacy for Generation Z as an effort to form an empowered and sustainable family according to Islamic guidance. This activity was carried out at the Medan Marriage Clinic (KLIK) with an educational-participatory approach through seminars, case studies, Islamic financial planning simulations, and pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the activity showed that out of 90 participants involved, the increase in the score regarding participant literacy from an average of 52.6 (pre-test) increased to 83.4 (post-test). In addition, participants demonstrated the ability to prepare an Islamic family financial plan and then responded to the activity with a satisfaction level above 85%. This activity shows that Islamic financial literacy education is very effective in preparing Muslims Generation in building harmonious and economically resilient Islamic families.

Hypertension is a disease suffered by one billion people in the world, including 2/3 of Hypertension sufferers who are in developing countries. This hypertension often occurs in adults but is more susceptible to Blood pressure if it is continuously high can cause damage to blood vessels, kidneys, heart, and circulation or even death This community service activity aims to provide education to 25 temporary village residents of Pantai Cermin Serdang Bedagai about prevention, early detection and treatment of Hypertension which is the main disease of the elderly. From the results of this service, the temporary village community who experienced the most mild Hypertension was 48% and consumed a lot of salt and excessive fat as much as 52%, the community experienced Obesity II excess weight by 44%, elderly age by 40%, female gender by 84%, had no history of hypertension in their families by 68%. with the status of elementary school/MI education level of 64%, Pretest score <70 as many as 10 people (40%), pretest score >70 as many as 15 people (60%) then Post test score <70 as many as 1 person (4%) and post test score >70 as many as 24 people (96%). The village is the smallest governmental organization that possesses autonomy in managing its governance, commonly referred to as village autonomy. This autonomy serves as a means for all components involved in village governance—both the village government and other community elements—to synergize in implementing development within the village. However, at present, village governance is not yet fully carried out in synergy with all elements within the village. This situation underlies our initiative to conduct outreach on the importance of synergy or collaboration in the implementation of village governance. Our activities were carried out through lectures, discussions, and legal consultations. Based on the outreach we conducted, village governance, particularly in Sembalun Village, has not been collaborative. This is due to a lack of understanding among the components of village governance regarding the duties and roles of the community as part of the governance system, including the various forms of participation they can offer. Therefore, we provide recommendations based on our outreach, suggesting that all forms of governmental and developmental activities in the village should involve community participation in their implementation.

The Community Service Program (KKN) represents a collaborative effort between students of Universitas Tidar (UNTIDAR) and the Regional Revenue, Financial Management, and Asset Agency (BPPKAD) of Magelang Regency aimed at enhancing the updating of Land and Builidng Tax (PBB) data. This activity was carried out in three sub district, namely Mungkid sub district, Mertoyudan sub district, and Muntilan sub district, by utilizing the SiPBB Trengginas website. In a direct practice approach, students play an active role in assisting village officials in the process of data mutation, tax object updates, data correction, and cancellation of inappropriate SPPT. The result of this activity show that the collaboration has succeeded in improving the accuracy of PBB data, efficiency in regional tax administration, and public understanding of the importance of data updating. This program not only provides direct benefits to the community and local government, but also provides practical experience for students in applying knowledge to solve problem in the field.

The principle of legality is the most fundamental principle in the administration of government, including in the administration of village governance. All mechanisms of governance and policymaking must be based on and aligned with the relevant laws and regulations. In the current implementation of village governance, numerous legal violations still occur, such as abuse of authority, corruption, and other misconducts, all of which stem from the failure to uphold the principle of legality. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to conduct legal education aimed at enhancing the understanding of village government officials regarding the importance of comprehending and applying the principle of legality in village governance. This is essential to ensure that the implementation of governance and any policies made do not lead to legal problems. The methods used in this legal outreach include lectures, discussions, and legal consultations. This study concludes that village government officials have not yet fully understood the principle of legality. Through this legal education, it is expected that they will gain a clearer understanding of the concept and be able to implement it effectively in the administration of village governance.

The problem of low ecological awareness among students and the community and the limited application of contextual learning in schools are challenges in 21st century education that demands concern for the environment and critical thinking skills. This community service activity aims to increase ecological awareness and problem-solving skills through the application of interdisciplinary authentic learning by utilizing rivers as a learning resource. The method of implementing the activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach which involves the active participation of students, community service teams and the community in all stages of the activity, starting from problem identification, planning, action implementation, reflection, to evaluation. The activity begins with observation and focus group discussions to identify river problems. Furthermore, teacher training is carried out on interdisciplinary authentic learning, mentoring in the development of teaching tools, and the implementation of project-based learning in the river environment. The results of the activity show an increase in teacher understanding in designing contextual learning, active involvement of students in collecting data and compiling environmental solutions, and the emergence of community awareness of the importance of river conservation. Joint reflection confirms that learning based on real problems is able to build concern, collaboration, and ecological literacy in various parties. From this activity, it was concluded that rivers as an effective learning resource are used to build meaningful learning, strengthen 21st century skills, and encourage sustainable environmental action through a community-based collaborative approach.

The method included awareness sessions on recycling, demonstrations of the ecoprint process, and hands-on activities where children printed vegetable waste such as mustard greens and pakcoy onto canvas totebags using acrylic paint. The results showed increased understanding of waste management, enhanced creativity, and improvement in children's fine motor skills. Participants displayed high enthusiasm, joy in expressing themselves artistically, and pride in their finished products. Beyond the artistic experience, this activity instilled important values related to environmental conservation and sustainable living from an early age. In conclusion, the ecoprint program effectively empowered children through environmentally themed art and introduced the concept of a circular economy within the community setting.

Abstract

The accumulation of organic waste and the excessive use of chemical fertilizers represent significant environmental problems in Indonesia. Eco Enzyme emerges as an innovative solution, offering a sustainable alternative for organic waste management and fertilization. A socialization and training program on Eco Enzyme production was conducted at SD Negeri 105327 Pardamean, Tanjung Morawa District, involving 15 practitioners. The methods employed included material presentations and practical training in Eco Enzyme production from vegetable and fruit waste. The program's evaluation was conducted by comparing pre-test and post-test results. The evaluation results showed an 81.3% increase in participants' understanding and skills after attending the socialization and training. This indicates the effectiveness of the activity in enhancing participants' knowledge and ability to independently produce Eco Enzyme in household settings. It is expected that this activity can positively contribute to improved organic waste management and reduce reliance on synthetic chemical fertilizers.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi wisata kuliner di Pasar Senggol, Bangoan, Kedungwaru, sebagai sarana peningkatan perekonomian lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap pelaku usaha di pasar tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga produk yang murah menjadi daya tarik utama bagi konsumen dari berbagai kalangan. Selain itu, variasi produk yang ditawarkan, seperti makanan tradisional, jajanan pasar, dan minuman khas, memberikan nilai tambah tersendiri. Para pelaku usaha mengungkapkan bahwa omset mereka meningkat setiap kali pasar malam digelar, menunjukkan adanya dampak positif terhadap pendapatan harian mereka. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi lokasi strategis, suasana ramai, dan loyalitas pelanggan. Namun, ditemukan pula kendala seperti keterbatasan tempat dan jam operasional yang terbatas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Pasar Senggol memiliki potensi kuat sebagai destinasi wisata kuliner yang dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat lokal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak untuk mengoptimalkan peran pasar ini secara berkelanjutan.

This study aims to provide legal counseling on consumer protection in the digital era for the people of Bakunase Dua Village. Given the rapid development of technology and the many digital transactions that occur, many consumers do not yet understand their rights and the risks involved in these transactions. This community service activity involves legal counseling targeting digital transaction actors in the local community. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires given before and after the counseling activity, to measure changes in participants' understanding of consumer rights and how to protect themselves in digital transactions. The results of the community service showed that there was a significant increase in participants' understanding of their rights as consumers, as well as the procedures that can be taken to protect themselves from the risk of fraud and digital losses. Before the counseling, only a small number of participants understood digital consumer protection, but after the counseling activity, almost 90% of participants stated that they had a better understanding of how to protect themselves in the digital world. Thus, the purpose of this community service was achieved well, providing a positive impact on public legal awareness of consumer protection in the digital era. As a recommendation, similar activities need to be further developed by introducing practical training and digital media to reach more people, considering the increasingly rapid development of technology.

The utilization of medicinal plants in Indonesia is still limited due to the lack of community knowledge on sustainable management and utilization, as well as low awareness of the economic valuation of medicinal plants. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve public understanding of the sustainable management and utilization of medicinal plants and provide insights into their economic valuation. The methods used in this service are counseling, training, and consultation with the community, using a participatory approach. The results obtained show an increase in participants' knowledge of medicinal plants, as well as a more positive attitude toward sustainable plant management. Furthermore, participants' skills in utilizing medicinal plants and calculating their economic valuation have also improved. In conclusion, the conducted counseling and training can enhance knowledge, skills, and public awareness, which in turn can support more sustainable and economically valuable medicinal plant management.

The development of digital technology has transformed traditional marketing methods into more dynamic, content-based strategies, particularly through social media platforms like TikTok. This study aims to analyze how short videos on TikTok are utilized as part of the digital marketing strategy by the car showroom Jati Subur Mobil, using the TikTok account @jatisuburmobil. The method used is descriptive analysis. Data were collected from the showroom's TikTok content and documentation of digital promotional activities. The results show that using short videos with engaging visuals, relevant music, and concise information effectively increases user engagement, expands audience reach, and builds brand awareness for Jati Subur Mobil more effectively than traditional promotional media. TikTok also allows the showroom to directly reach younger market segments by following weekly or monthly trending topics. This study concludes that TikTok is not only an entertainment platform but can also be optimized as a strategic digital marketing tool for local automotive businesses.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in national economic development, yet they still face major challenges, particularly in graphic design creativity and manual financial recordkeeping. Digitalization has become an urgent need to enable MSMEs to remain competitive amid the era of technological transformation. To address this need, a community service program was carried out in the form of training on the use of Canva and PosSaku application for MSME actors in the Food Court Nusantara area, Mal SKA. The aim of this activity was to improve participants’ understanding and skills in designing digital promotional brochures using Canva, as well as managing financial records more efficiently through the PosSaku application. The training method was participatory and interactive, consisting of material delivery, independent practice, mentoring, and evaluation of participants’ work. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in the participants’ skills, which included business owners and employees of a fried chicken (ayam geprek) business. All participants were able to independently create promotional brochures using Canva and gained an understanding of the importance of visual branding in business. Moreover, the use of PosSaku enabled participants to record sales and expenses in real-time, prepare simple financial reports, and make business decisions based on actual data. This training successfully raised participants’ awareness of the importance of technology for business sustainability and development, and served as an initial step toward broader digital transformation for MSMEs.

Sabun cuci piring yang banyak digunakan dan beredar di pasaran tidak sedikit menggunakan zat kimia aktif yang bisa dikatakan tidak ramah terhadap kulit manusia sehingga menyebabkan kulit terasa kering, gatal-gatal dan terkelupas. Namun, ada zat aktif lain yang bisa digunakan dalam pembuatan sabun pencuci secara alami, yaitu ekstrak sereh wangi dari tanaman sereh wangi. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan ekstrak serai wangi dalam pembuatan sabun cuci piring dianggap sangat efektif, tidak hanya untuk memberikan aroma, tetapi juga untuk memberikan efek antibakteri. Sebagaimana peneliti telah melakukan observasi awal ke lokasi yayasan, peneliti mendapatkan bahwa anak-anak berbagi peralatan makan yang sama. Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya potensi tinggi terhadap penyebaran kuman dan bakteri, terutama melalui peralatan makan yang digunakan bersama tanpa adanya jaminan kebersihan yang optimal. Oleh karena itu keterampilan pemanfaatan ekstrak daun serai untuk pembuatan sabun cuci piring khususnya pada warga di Yayasan Al-Kahfi Medan Amplas akan sangat membantu menghemat biaya pembelian sabun dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan bahan alami untuk produk cuci piring.

Empowerment of Women Farmers through Training on Botanical Pesticide Production in Padukuhan Dabag, Condongcatur Village

This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in implementing environmentally friendly agriculture through training in the production of botanical pesticides. The methods used included counseling, hands-on practice, and evaluation through a participatory approach. The evaluation was based on the Kirkpatrick model at the reaction and learning levels. The results showed significant improvements in knowledge (from 53% to 93%), attitude (from 76% to 97%), and skills (from 0% to 97%). Participants also expressed high satisfaction with the training activities, with an average response score of 4.56. This program successfully promoted behavior change and raised awareness of sustainable and safe agricultural practices.

This business began to be known by the surrounding community from mouth to mouth promotion because consumers were satisfied with the taste of the sponge cake and also the affordable selling price. Currently, sponge cake production is based on orders. The aim of PKM is to empower MSMEs in the Aneka sponge business sector with production problems, packaging, determining and calculating selling prices and preparing financial reports. The method used is a survey to partners with interviews. The results of PKM activities are that partners get additional production equipment in the form of mxer and standing ovens. Partners get an understanding of good packaging for health, training in determining product selling prices, training in preparing simple financial reports.

The development of soft skills has become an important aspect in preparing students to face the challenges of education and the professional world, especially in an era full of uncertainty and dynamic changes (VUCA). Community service aims to assist new students of the Public Health Study Program at Sriwijaya University, Class of 2024, in recognizing their potential, building leadership character, and planning their life during their study period. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with stages including identifying student potential through questionnaires, collaborative planning with the student organization (Himkesma), offline soft skill training, and continued consultation guidance. The results of the activities showed an increase in students’ understanding of the importance of soft skills, interest in active organizational participation, and readiness to develop their potential through various campus experiences. Evaluation and reflection confirmed that soft skill development assistance strengthened the students’ human resource capacity and encouraged new students to actively participate in organizations as a means of developing leadership and interpersonal skills.This activity significantly contributes to equipping students to be better prepared to face competition in the workforce and the challenges of future life.

Waste management is a significant challenge in Indonesia, including in Pulosari Village, Bandung Regency. This study aims to analyze the waste management education strategy implemented by PKK Cadres to improve environmental cleanliness in Pulosari Village. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, this research involved semi-structured interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results show that PKK Cadres play a crucial role in raising community awareness through various educational programs, including socialization at integrated health posts, religious gatherings, and community meetings. The strategies implemented include waste sorting training, cleanliness campaigns, and the "Clean Friday" program. The use of visual media such as banners and the effort to optimize social media are also part of the educational strategy. Despite facing challenges from outsiders who litter, this program has successfully increased community participation in waste management and environmental cleanliness maintenance. This study concludes that a comprehensive and sustainable educational strategy is highly effective in building collective awareness and changing community behavior towards waste management.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) constitute a significant segment of the economy; however, many entities in this sector continue to face challenges related to business management and marketing strategies. Warung Oma Abang serves as an illustration of a culinary MSME that has faced a myriad of issues, including no registration on Google Maps, inadequate promotional activities, lack of a menu catalog, reliance on manual transaction documentation, and unavailability of digital payment options such as QRIS. The primary objective of this initiative was to improve the visibility and operational efficacy of Warung Oma Abang through comprehensive mentoring. The methodology used included problem identification, formulation of strategic solutions, and direct implementation in a practical setting. The mentoring effort involved registration on Google Maps, a menu catalog, creating promotional banners, managing an Instagram account as a platform for promotions, shifting financial records to a simplified digital framework, and facilitating the QRIS registration process. The results of this initiative showed increased online visibility, increased customer accessibility to the menu, improved aesthetic appeal, and increased efficiency in financial documentation and payment modalities. In conclusion, mentoring that uses a practical and focused methodology can significantly assist MSMEs in overcoming operational challenges and expanding their customer reach.

This activity aims to improve public understanding, with the main focus on teachers and teaching staff at SMAN 9 Bekasi. Legal protection for teachers from criminalization has been achieved through various regulations that provide a legal basis in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as teachers. In Indonesia, the criminalization of teachers arises due to differences in views between parents and schools, especially regarding the role of teachers as educators. Disciplinary actions such as pinching, flicking, running in the school area, cleaning the school environment, and other forms of discipline are considered by parents to be human rights violations under the Child Protection Act. On the other hand, teachers perceive such actions as part of the pedagogical method. Criminalization of teachers leads to a decrease in confidence in their professionalism, so that teachers only carry out their duties as teachers and neglect their role as educators. The importance of the teacher's role is not only to teach in the classroom, but also to educate students about ethics and moral values is very significant. This is a key element in the effort to produce a generation that is not only intellectually smart but also has good character. It is expected that the results of this extension activity can provide a sense of security to teachers, so that they can focus on educating the next generation without worrying about unwarranted criminalization.

Stunting is a significant chronic nutritional problem, especially in coastal areas such as Taman Village, Pemalang. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Supplementary Feeding (PMT) program in reducing the prevalence of stunting in toddlers and improving the nutritional status of pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) in Taman Village, Taman District, Pemalang Regency. Through a qualitative approach, this study identified factors that influence nutritional care practices in the community. Supplementary Feeding (PMT) of local food in the form of processed chicken rolade and carang gesing as one of the strategies to reduce stunting. This study indicates that the PMT program is an effective intervention in overcoming the problem of stunting in Taman Village.

The increasing problem of plastic waste, especially in school environments, requires creative and educational solutions to address it. The Eco Kreatif program aims to raise students' environmental awareness through the activity of recycling plastic bottles into hanging flower pots. This program employs a project-based learning method, where students at SDN 104233 Bandar Labuhan participate in stages of socialization, demonstration, and hands-on practice in designing and decorating flower pots from used plastic bottles. The results show that more than 85% of students understand the importance of recycling and have acquired the skills to transform plastic waste into valuable products. Additionally, this program helps foster students' creativity and enhances their environmental awareness. Thus, the Eco Kreatif program not only contributes to reducing plastic waste but also serves as an effective environmental education tool from an early age.

Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan untuk membantu pengembangan mewirausahakan birokarasi pada Guru Smp Swasta Bakti II. tujuan diadakannya PKM ini untuk memberikan penyuluhan kepada pihak Lembaga keuangan dan para guru dipesantren Mawaridusaalam untuk mengoptimalkan SDM melalui kegiatan pelatihan manajemen terkini Bank Wakaf Mikro (BWM) agar memudahkan pihak Lembaga keuangan dan Pesantren untuk berkembang kearah yang lebih baik lagi. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi dimana para staff dan guru kurang memahami cara mengoptimalkan manajemen terkini sehingga menghasilkan kinerja yang baik bagi Lembaga keuangan maupun pesantren. Dengan terciptanya SDM yang baik maka memudahkan para guru untuk mandiri dan lebih mengembangkan kemampuannya secara optimal untuk mendukung kemajuan sekolah maupun Lembaga keuangan. Maka disini staff dan Guru sebagai mitra dan media pembelajaran siswa/i pesantren mawaridusaalam untuk mengajarkan kreativitas siswa sejak dini. Metode pendekatan yang ditawarkan untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini adalah dengan metode ceramah dan metode diskusi kepada para guru dan pihak sekolah. Hasil yang telah dilakukan dalam Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini diantaranya adalah memberikan pemahaman mengenai optimalisasi sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan manajemen terkini bank wakaf mikro (bwm) pesantren mawaridusaalam desa tumpatan kecamatan batang kuis deli serdang sumatera utara.

This community service program is a collaboration between Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) that explores the cultural and linguistic meanings of traditional cuisines in Medan and Penang. The objective of this community engagement initiative is to preserve culinary heritage through documentation, analysis and comparison of culinary terms, historical roots, and symbolic meaning amidst the challenges of globalization. Using a mixed-method approach-combining field etnography, computational linguistics (AI-based lexical mapping), and semiotic analysis, the team collected data from oral histories, ancient recipes, and digital etnography. The results highlight regional variations related to migration and colonial influences, as well as the documentation of terms such as rendang (Minang) and nasi kandar (Malay-Indian) enriched with etymologies and cultural narratives.

(2) Implementation stage, at this stage, the socialization of students' character formation is carried out through the base learning project learning model in mathematics subjects from UMN Al Washliyah Medan using PowerPoint. In this socialization activity, lectures and questions and answers are carried out, so that the activity will achieve the results and targets as expected and (3) Evaluation Stage, at this stage an evaluation is carried out by making a questionnaire before and after the implementation of PKM activities at Nabilah Islamic High School Batam, to find out there is an increase in understanding regarding Mathematics lessons. The PKM results concluded that the application of the Project-Based Learning learning model in mathematics learning can improve students' character values. The development of digital technology demands an increase in teacher competence in integrating interactive media in the learning process, especially science and mathematics subjects that are often considered difficult by students. The main problem faced by junior high school teachers in Pasar Dua Patumbak Patumbak District Deli Serdang Regency is the limitation in utilizing digital learning media that is interesting and effective. This service activity aims to improve the ability of teachers to design and use digital-based interactive media to support innovative and fun learning. The implementation method includes training, mentoring and hands-on practice of making learning media using simple applications such as Canva, interactive PowerPoint, and Wordwall. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in teacher competence as shown by the evaluation results before and after the training where 85% of teachers experienced an increase in understanding in the use of interactive media and 78% succeeded in making media that was feasible to be applied in the classroom. 82% of teachers felt more confident to be able to apply interactive media in science and mathematics learning. The results of these activities show that structured and practical interactive media training is proven to be effective in improving the quality of teacher teaching and can be an innovative solution for learning in the digital era.

Masa remaja merupakan fase penting dalam kehidupan manusia yang ditandai dengan perubahan fisik, emosional, dan sosial yang cepat. Pada masa ini, perkembangan kebiasaan dan gaya hidup berdampak jangka panjang terhadap kesehatan seseorang. Namun, banyak remaja yang belum sepenuhnya menyadari pentingnya menjaga pola hidup sehat, seperti tidur yang cukup, mengonsumsi makanan sehat, dan melakukan aktivitas fisik secara teratur. Kurangnya pemahaman tersebut dapat mengakibatkan timbulnya masalah kesehatan, baik fisik maupun mental. Analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan pada hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dari rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 82,3 menjadi 96,4 pada post-test. Pengabdian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 28 Mei 2025 di SMA Swasta Generus Bangsa Deli Serdang dengan melibatkan 22 siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah dengan PPT dan games. Hasil yang diperoleh adanya peningkatan pemahaman tentang pola hidup sehat pada remaja, yang menunjukkan bahwa edukasi yang diberikan dapat dipahami dan dimengerti oleh siswa sehingga diharapkan setelah edukasi terwujud dalam perubahan perilaku.

This community service program was initiated to respond to the needs of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Khoeriyyah in Desa Linggaraja, a 3T (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost) area where access to quality English education is limited. The main issue faced by the partner was the absence of English instruction due to curriculum constraints and a lack of qualified teachers. Parents expressed concern over their children's struggles with English at the secondary level. To address this, the program aimed to develop an English learning module integrated with the existing Arabic curriculum by implementing the eight principles of The-C Wheel: context, connection, coherence, challenge, curiosity, care, community, and creativity. The methods included institutional analysis, module development based on daily-used Arabic materials, teacher assistance using Google Translate, classroom teaching by the service team, and guided teaching simulations. Results indicated improved teacher engagement, increased student enthusiasm, and the successful creation of a copyrighted English module. In conclusion, the program effectively enhanced English instruction in a religious-based educational setting and is expected to serve as a replicable model for similar institutions in rural areas.

Breakfast is an important habit that should be done every day to meet the body's energy needs, especially in supporting daily activities optimally. This community service activity aims to increase students' knowledge about the importance of breakfast. This service method uses a pre-post test one group design through coordination, mentoring (identification, prioritization and preparation of improvement efforts), counseling, and evaluation with participants consisting of 30 grade 5 students. After the counseling, students' understanding of the importance of breakfast increased significantly by 98.9%. However, this still requires a more comprehensive approach in practice. Therefore, by involving all stakeholders and using a systematic and measurable approach, this activity recommends the implementation of a sustainable program to raise awareness and encourage effective garbage breakfasts in schools.

Banana chips are a local food product with high economic potential for rural communities. This program aims to improve product quality, develop flavor innovation, and expand marketing strategies for MSMEs producing banana chips in Lantasan Baru Village, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used was a participatory approach involving technical training, new flavor development, and digital marketing outreach. The results showed significant improvements in three main aspects: enhanced product quality through better raw materials and processing techniques; diversification into chocolate, matcha, and tiramisu flavors; and expanded market reach via social media and e-commerce platforms. This community service activity aims to improve the mental health of the people in Gantang Tani Village by utilizing local wisdom as a psychological resource that aligns with the cultural values and norms of the area. This agricultural village still maintains a strong traditional value system. Using a participatory approach through observation, interviews, FGD, and training for local facilitators, this activity explores cultural practices such as marsialapari (cooperation), manortor (traditional dance), customary rituals, and local proverbs in strengthening the psychological resilience of the community. The findings show that local wisdom can enhance a sense of solidarity, regulate emotions, and reduce collective pressure. The main issue is the cultural potential that has not yet been fully maximized as a psychological resource. This program fosters a new awareness of the significance of mental health within the cultural context. Suggestions include the integration of cultural values in psychological counseling, the development of locally-based mental health promotion modules, and the involvement of traditional leaders. This activity also produces a model of the village cultural calendar to support the mental well-being of the community. Overall, this service illustrates that culturally-based interventions have great potential in supporting mental health in rural communities in an inclusive and sustainable manner.

This study aims to enhance children's appreciation of Indonesia's cultural diversity through the use of flip-book and pop-up book media in an orphanage setting. The community service activity was conducted at Febrian Berkat Karunia Orphanage Foundation in Deli Serdang Regency. The implementation consisted of four stages: preparation, socialization, media demonstration, and evaluation through pretest and posttest. The results showed a significant improvement in children’s understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity after engaging with the interactive media. Moreover, the intervention had positive effects on their cognitive, emotional, and fine motor development, as well as in strengthening their cultural identity. Flip-books and pop-up books proved to be effective educational tools that are engaging, interactive, and enriching for children's learning experiences on Indonesian cultural diversity.

This activity aims to optimize financial management through training in basic financial reporting and digitalization using Microsoft Excel. The methods used include observation, material presentation, technical training, and intensive mentoring. The results show that business owners have begun to understand the importance of financial recording, are able to prepare income statements, and calculate the cost of goods manufactured independently. The use of Excel for digital financial records has proven to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and accountability of financial information. This activity is expected to be the first step toward more professional financial management practices within MSMEs, with a long-term focus on sustainability.

This study aims to analyze the role of male and female preachers (mubaligh and mubalighah) in the context of inclusive Islamic preaching (dakwah) within urban areas, focusing on a case study at the Kreasi Bangun Semesta Foundation (YKBS) in Limo, Depok City. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Findings indicate that preachers in the YKBS environment face complex challenges, particularly with social diversity, the lack of contextual dakwah training, and limited utilization of digital media. Preaching activities remain largely normative and lack contextual adaptation to the urban setting. Therefore, revitalizing the role of preachers requires capacity strengthening in social communication, multicultural understanding, and community-based preaching strategies. This study recommends an inclusive, integrative, and participatory dakwah model as a strategic solution to address the dynamic challenges of urban Islamic preaching.

This community service program aims to empower the business owner through training and assistance in implementing a simple inventory recording system using Microsoft Excel. The implementation method adopts a participatory approach, including initial surveys, basic training, guided inventory card preparation, evaluation, and follow-up monitoring. The results show that using Excel not only simplifies inventory recording but also improves the owner's understanding of inventory management and financial accountability. This system is proven to be efficient, flexible, and user-friendly without requiring additional costs. With improved inventory records, MSMEs can identify fast-moving products, avoid stockouts, and enhance business decision-making. This program is expected to become a model of empowerment for other MSMEs in adopting more professional and sustainable inventory management practices.

Through a participatory training approach, teachers are equipped with digital literacy knowledge and technical skills using applications such as Canva and Heyzine to create digital books. The implementation results show that teachers experienced an increased understanding of digital literacy and enthusiasm in developing new learning media. Evaluations from 11 participants showed a high level of satisfaction with the material, understanding of digital literacy, and readiness to implement the training results. This activity not only strengthens teachers' competency in integrating technology into learning but also encourages the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and the spirit of Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) through collaboration between lecturers and students. It is hoped that this activity can be implemented sustainably, and the training model implemented has the potential to be replicated in other schools to support improving the quality of digital literacy-based education.

The increasingly rapid development of the times demands changes in the world of education, including in terms of implementing learning strategies. In Banyuresmi Village, there are still many teachers who have not fully mastered 21st century learning strategies. This is the background for carrying out this community service. The aim of this service is to increase teacher competence in implementing 21st century learning strategies so that they can improve the quality of student learning. The method used in this service is through teacher education workshops which include material on 21st century learning concepts, various kinds of learning strategies that can be applied, as well as direct practice in designing learning activities. The workshop participants were all teachers in Banyuresmi Village. The results of this service show a significant increase in teacher competence in implementing 21st century learning strategies. This can be seen from the increase in teachers' understanding of 21st century learning concepts and their ability to design innovative learning activities. Apart from that, based on the evaluation results, teachers also responded positively to the implementation of the workshop and showed high interest in implementing new strategies in classroom learning. It is hoped that this workshop can be the first step in efforts to improve the quality of education in Banyuresmi Village.

Management of Hazardous and Toxic Waste (B3) in Indonesia still faces various challenges, especially in the aspects of education and outreach which are not yet evenly distributed and effective. This service activity aims to assess the effectiveness of educational programs in increasing the understanding and compliance of the community and workers with B3 waste management procedures. Using a qualitative approach, data was obtained through pre-test and post-test, observation of socialization participants from various sectors. The results of service activities show that participatory and contextual-based training methods, such as Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and field simulations, are able to increase participants' knowledge and compliance significantly. However, the success of the program is highly dependent on the availability of resources, appropriate educational media, and cross-sector involvement. Therefore, the government and related agencies are advised to develop sustainable education programs that are adapted to the literacy level of participants and the local context, in order to strengthen the B3 waste management system that is oriented towards protecting health and the environment.

The program aimed to enhance the capacity of students and administrators through limited-area organic farming training, compost and eco enzyme production, entrepreneurship training focusing on UMKM branding and 7P marketing strategy, public speaking training, digital financial management using Excel, and technology diffusion through eco design-based gate architecture. The results showed significant improvements in farming skills, design and marketing capabilities, public communication literacy, and digital financial management. Furthermore, the pondok gate design provided a concrete contribution to strengthening the pesantren's eco-friendly identity. This program demonstrated that the integration of practical and collaborative methods to improve the pesantren’s human resources. Sustainability is recommended through independent follow-up mentoring and ongoing internal monitoring by pesantren administrators.

The problem faced in Oneeha Village, Tanggetada District, Kolaka Regency is the low community understanding of Village Regulation Number 4 of 2019 concerning livestock control, which results in frequent crop damage caused by livestock. This community service aims to optimize the implementation of livestock control policies by increasing public understanding and awareness. The method employed was socialization conducted through meetings at the village office with participation from 30 community members and 10 village officials, using pretests and posttests to measure changes in participants’ understanding. The results showed that before socialization, many community members were unaware of the sanction amounts and there was controversy regarding the fines. After socialization, there was a significant increase in community understanding and awareness of the importance of complying with regulations to maintain order and prevent mutual losses. Furthermore, the community and village government proposed evaluating the regulation, which has been in effect for six years, to better suit current conditions. In conclusion, socialization effectively improves community knowledge and supports the harmonization of agricultural and livestock activities, while policy evaluation is necessary for more adaptive and sustainable implementation.

The program involved 12 tutors who were actively engaged in teaching, yet had not integrated character development as an added value in their instructional process. Character strengthening—especially through emotional cultivation (olah rasa)—is essential for shaping learners with strong emotional and social resilience. To address this issue, the program was implemented through three main stages: socialization, application of science and technology (IPTEK), and training on designing character education rubrics. The training incorporated the cultural wisdom of Mangupa, which emphasizes mutual tolerance, respect, self-confidence, and effective communication as core values of good character. As a result, the tutors were able to develop and apply character assessment rubrics in their teaching practices. These rubrics serve as a tool to reduce the likelihood of students becoming victims of bullying, both in educational and social environments. In-depth interviews revealed that the tutors fully supported the implementation of character assessment, even within a non-formal educational context. This program demonstrates that character education rooted in local culture can be effectively integrated into English language teaching.

To mitigate these risks, a 3D schematic design for a Public Open Space (POS) was developed as an alternative solution to promote rural economic diversification. The POS is envisioned not only as a social interaction space but also as a hub for economic and creative activities, such as local product promotion, cultural events, and collaboration among small businesses (SMEs). The planning process included site surveys, field observations, focus group discussions (FGDs) with village authorities, and participatory design finalization. The resulting 3D design provides a clear visual representation to ensure comprehensive understanding among stakeholders. Sehingga melalui ekgiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa Universitas Darul Ulum Jombang mengadakan pelatihan Pemanfaatan Limbah Sekam Padi Menjadi Nilai Ekonomi Baru Masyarakat di Desa Pengampon. ABSTRACT

Catfish is one of the livestock fish commodities that has great potential to be developed, because it has a high omega content that is beneficial for the human body, especially children who are experiencing physical development. The abundance of catfish and moringa leaves in Dawuhan Kulon Village, Kedungbanteng District, which are local foods, can be utilized to become processed foods that have added value in terms of nutrition that will affect their growth and development. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to improve community skills in processing local foods (catfish and moringa leaves) which are made into nuggets and making product packaging that is safe for processed foods for toddlers. The implementation method consists of the preparation stage, implementation of monitoring and evaluation. At the preparation stage, it is in the form of preparation of tools, human resources and a place of manufacture. The process of making and monitoring evaluation. Counseling was provided to 47 participants, mothers and cadres about stunting and pre-test and post-test evaluations were carried out. The average knowledge of cadres and mothers of toddlers increased after counseling, and the majority of toddlers aged 2-3 years were 18 (48.65%), while the gender of the toddlers was mostly female (56.76%), the nutritional status of very short children was 9 children (24.32%), and short children (75.68%).

In Mekarsari Village, Sumedang Regency, the registration of waqf land is a persistent problem because many people have donated their property, yet it has not been properly certified. Many people still don't understand how to register land waqf. This will be detrimental to many parties if the waqf land leads to disputes. This service aims to determine the level of understanding of land waqf administration in Mekarsari Village using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which is an approach aimed at learning to overcome problems and meet the practical needs of the community, as well as producing knowledge and the process of socio-religious change. From the community service activities carried out, it was found that the residents of Mekarsari Village can understand land ownership administration well. The socialization conducted raises awareness among the residents of Mekarsari village to prioritize administrative order in land waqf. The discussion regarding the provisions for waqf land certification was understandable to representatives of the majelis ta'lim groups and several educational institutions from the Mekarsari village community, as well as their commitment to actively and supportively engage with the various dynamics of waqf in society. The community is also able to understand the implications that arise if there is no written evidence in the form of certificates, AIW, or a replacement deed for the deed of waqf (hereinafter referred to as APAIW).

Astronomy is the idea of using arithmetic to calculate things within various Islamic rules. The purpose of this service is to use mentoring to help the community in Sumedang Regency better understand ijtihad and astronomy. The method used is qualitative, where the service provider is the main tool, sample, and data source. The results focus on meaning rather than generalization. The results of this investigation reveal that determining the direction of the Qibla mathematically is difficult in some places. Spherical astronomy and geography are the main issues with prayer direction. There are two ways to determine when the month in the Islamic calendar begins: the calculation method and the observation method. To know the time of Imsak, you also need to know the time of the Subuh prayer. Muslims often miscalculate the time of the Subuh prayer when trying to determine it. Some rules regarding the height of the sun were made by experts through ijtihad. The Ministry of Religious Affairs uses this ijtihad to determine when dawn begins, when true dawn light is visible on the eastern horizon before sunrise, and when the sun is below the eastern horizon until it is visible.

Halal certification is the process of issuing a halal certificate, which is carried out through a series of inspection stages to ensure that the raw materials, production processes, and halal assurance system of a company's products meet the applicable standards. The absence of halal certification limits marketing opportunities, increases the risk of contamination with non-halal ingredients, and decreases consumer trust. Based on these conditions, this community service activity is carried out with the aim of increasing the understanding and awareness of micro-business actors regarding the importance of halal certification. The methods used include socializing the concept, urgency, and process of halal certification; providing technical assistance in meeting administrative requirements; and assisting with the halal certification process. The results of the activity show an increase in business actors' understanding of halal certification. A total of 12 micro-business owners who were previously uncertified agreed to participate in this program, and 10 of them successfully completed the creation of their Business Identification Number (NIB) and filled out the PTSP Sihalal form. The halal process assistance shows that the participants' business activities have met the requirements of the Halal Product Assurance. The recommendations and conclusions of the assistance results were submitted to the Halal Inspection Agency (LPH) and the Halal Product Assurance Implementing Agency (BPJPH), which were then processed by the MUI Fatwa Council for the issuance of halal certificates.

Pada masa menopause terdapat beberapa masalah yang terjadi yaitu gangguan sulit tidur, rasa panas dibagian wajah, leher serta bagian dada (hot flashes), dan perubahan emosional yang mengakibatkan lebih sensitif. Salah satu terapi alternative yang dapat digunakan yaitu dengan aromaterapi minyak esensial yang berasal dari tanaman yang mengandung minyak atsiri. Penggunaan aromaterapi dilakukan dengan cara dihirup, sehingga kandungan di dalam minyak atsiri ditangkap oleh otak, yang dapat memberikan kenyamanan serta efek relaksasi. Tumbuhan serai adalah salah satu jenis tanaman yang memiliki kandungan minyak atsiri yang dapat membantu memperbaiki atau menjaga kesehatan dan memperbaiki kenyamanan emosional. Maka dari itu pada kesempatan kali ini yang dilaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengolahan aromaterapi dari minyak serai (Cymbopogon Citratus) sebagai anti depresan pada wanita menopause di Desa Tajau Landung Rt 03 Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sungai Tabuk 1 Kabupaten Banjar. The widespread development of digital technology has created enormous opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to grow their businesses. E-commerce is one of the digital platforms that facilitates online transactions, enabling businesses to expand their markets, reduce costs, and enhance distribution efficiency. However, not all MSMEs can effectively utilize this technology for their products, particularly in urban areas where digital literacy gaps persist, such as in the Perak Barat neighborhood. In response to this situation, Group 14 of the SDGs Community Service Program (KKN) from UPN “Veteran” East Java conducted outreach and training sessions on photography, social media branding, and e-commerce basics, with the aim of enhancing the digital capabilities of MSMEs in business management, marketing, and network development. The method used was qualitative descriptive, with data collection through direct observation. The results of this mentoring program showed a significant increase in SME operators who have begun adopting e-commerce, as evidenced by their active participation in creating accounts and uploading SME products.

This community service activity aims to improve the quality of educational services at Kindergarten Schools (TK) in South Cikarang through performance evaluation techniques based on the SERVQUAL method. The main problem identified was that there had been no systematic measurement of the quality of educational services at the school. The SERVQUAL method was used with five main dimensions, namely Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, and Tangibles. The activity began with observations and interviews with the school to understand the initial conditions of the service. Furthermore, training and counseling were carried out for the school regarding the importance of performance evaluation and the use of questionnaires based on the five dimensions of service quality. The evaluation results showed a gap between parents' expectations and perceptions of the services provided. This gap is used as a basis for priority service improvements, especially in dimensions with the largest differences. This activity provides benefits for schools in improving and enhancing the quality of education in a sustainable manner and involving the active role of parents in the evaluation process

Hypertension is a highly prevalent health problem among the elderly. Complementary therapy is a disease management method used to support conventional medical treatment or as an alternative treatment option outside of conventional medical treatment. Pharmacological treatments used for hypertension include beta blockers, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, diuretics, alpha blockers, and calcium channel blockers. A consequence of using diuretics is that potassium levels in the body are flushed out alongside sodium in urine. Yhe depletion of potassium can cause muscle cramps and, in extreme cases, death. A health problem identified in Tajau Landung Village, RT 03, within the Sungai Tabuk I Community Health Center (UPTD), is the elderly with hypertension. The purpose of this community service activity, as a non-pharmacological therapy, is to help lower blood pressure in hypertension sufferers, especially menopausal women with hypertension. The methods used in this counseling and demonstration are to increase menopausal women's knowledge of simple non-pharmacological therapies that can be applied at home. The conclusion of the community service activity of celery boiled water to lower blood pressure in hypertension sufferers was carried out through counseling using PowerPoint in the work area of Sungai Tabuk 1 Health Center, Tajau Landung Village, Rt.03.

A community service project entitled "Utilization of Used Cooking Oil in Making Aromatherapy Candles" involving Family Welfare Movement (PKK) women in Harjosari II Village, Jl. Dwikora No. 3, Medan Amplas District, North Sumatra Province, was conducted on April 29, 2025. The objective of this activity was to reduce environmental pollution caused by used cooking oil waste by processing it into aromatherapy candles. The used cooking oil waste was then developed into aromatherapy candles. Thus, household waste in the form of used cooking oil, which can cause environmental pollution, can be processed into a useful product and can increase household income. The target outputs are an aromatherapy candle product and a Bina Desa community service journal. To achieve these outputs, the methods applied include outreach, training, and hands-on practice to enhance the skills and creativity of participants. It is hoped that from this training, participants will gain knowledge and insight into processing used cooking oil and can also develop creative and innovative business ideas.
