This community service activity aims to optimize the use of Facebook pages as a digital promotional tool for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Prima Bumijo Village Group, Jetis District, Yogyakarta. The main problem faced by MSMEs is the limited use of social media for product marketing, with most still relying on conventional promotional methods that are less effective in reaching potential consumers widely. This activity was carried out for one month, with an implementation method through three stages: observation to identify participants' needs and obstacles, implementation of socialization and training on creating and managing business Facebook pages, and evaluation to assess the increase in participant competency. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in creating, managing, and utilizing Facebook pages for promotion. Thus, this activity successfully improved digital literacy and MSME marketing performance, and demonstrated that optimizing social media can be an effective strategy in supporting business sustainability in the digital economy era.

This community engagement program on digital financial management assistance through socialization and hands-on implementation of the SEPRAN application for MSME actors in Desa Prima Bumijo was carried out to address the issues of low financial literacy and the suboptimal practice of financial record-keeping. The program aimed to improve participants’ understanding of accurate transaction recording and their skills in operating digital financial applications. The methods consisted of socialization, training, and direct practice in using the SEPRAN application, involving 25 MSME actors as program subjects. Data were collected through observation and simple questionnaires to assess participants’ comprehension and competency before and after the intervention. The results showed an improvement in participants’ knowledge of digital financial management and their skills in using the application, including income and expense recording, and generating simple reports. Participants also demonstrated positive changes in daily transaction recording habits. The program concluded that SEPRAN-based digital financial management assistance effectively supports MSMEs in improving the quality of their financial administration. Further programs are recommended to enhance application utilization consistency and provide ongoing technical support.

This community service program aims to improve the English language skills of children in Kudadepa Village, who face challenges in accessing English language learning. The lack of educational facilities and infrastructure, as well as the limited number of teachers, are some of the barriers. Through a fun and interactive learning approach, this program strives to enhance speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English among the children of Kudadepa Village over the course of 5 weeks. The methods used include language games, singing, and demonstrations. Evaluation results show improvements in speaking and reading skills. Additionally, the program successfully boosted students' confidence and motivation to learn. The success of this program highlights the importance of broader access to quality English language education for children in rural areas.

The mission of Higher Education is implemented in the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, namely education, research, and community service. Learning assistance is a crucial form of community service to improve children's achievement and motivation to learn. This program was carried out in Selojari Village, Klambu, Grobogan. The target of the activity is elementary school age children. The scope of the activity includes learning assistance and the implementation of the anti-bullying program. The participants of the program amounted to 25 children and it was carried out for 40 days. The results showed an increase in motivation and learning achievement. Most of the participants understood the material better, they showed enthusiasm for participating in tutoring activities with the indicator of the number of absences in the meeting was very minimal. They become more understanding of the material than just getting the material at school. Meanwhile, the implementation of the anti-bullying program also showed positive results, as seen from the increasingly harmonious friendship between them. Social relations between students become better, do not denounce each other, do not group, which causes quarrels. In general, the activity went well, smoothly, and contributively. However, several obstacles are faced, such as limited facilities, including lack of lighting and room comfort.

Transformasi Media Dakwah: Pelatihan Content Creator di Lingkungan Pesantren Al Hikmah Permata Kajen

Changes in media consumption patterns have forced Islamic boarding schools, as Islamic educational institutions, to adapt their preaching methods to utilize digital technology. This community service program aims to train students at the Al Hikmah Kajen Islamic Boarding School to become content creators capable of producing high-quality content for digital platforms. Using the Participatory Learning Approach (PLA), the training involves 35 students aged 13-18, covering scriptwriting, photography, graphic design, and camera-speaking techniques. The training results demonstrate an improvement in participants' technical skills in producing content such as monologue videos, podcasts, and tutorials. Students are expected to be able to utilize digital media as an effective means of da'wah. This program also strengthens the pesantren's branding in the digital world. The training demonstrates that integrating technology with da'wah values can have a significant impact in empowering students and expanding the reach of the pesantren's da'wah efforts.

Science teachers of the Blora Regency MGMP experienced obstacles in creating IT-based learning media. The purpose of this PKM activity is to provide assistance to science teachers in creating IT-based learning media for the science learning process in junior high schools as part of teacher professional development. The methods used in this activity are socialization, workshops, and mentoring. Socialization is carried out to agree on the implementation of community service. The workshops that will be implemented include: Designing IT-based interactive learning media with a deep learning approach, Creating AI-based interactive learning media, Utilizing PheT-based interactive learning media, and implementing interactive learning media. In addition to the workshop, this community service activity also provides assistance in creating IT-based media starting from the stage of analyzing media needs, creating AI-based media, and PheT. This activity was carried out for 32 hours of lessons and monitoring the use of learning media by Blora Regency MGMP Science teachers. The results of the community service showed that all participants were able to utilize AI and PhET Simulation in preparing learning media. This was shown in the learning media that had been prepared by participants after completing the community service.

Implementasi QRIS pada UMKM Lokal di Pusat Pemerintahan Wilayah Perbatasan Negara

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in promoting economic growth, particularly in border regions where digital literacy among business actors remains low. In Dalam Kaum Village, Sambas Regency, most MSMEs have not yet utilized digital payment systems such as QRIS due to limited understanding and lack of technical assistance. In fact, QRIS can improve transaction efficiency as it is easy to use, secure, and integrated with various digital wallets. This community service program was implemented in three stages: (1) identifying MSMEs that had not yet adopted QRIS, (2) providing assistance in creating DANA Business accounts to obtain QRIS, and (3) conducting post-implementation evaluations. A total of 15 MSMEs successfully obtained QRIS, with 80% of respondents stating that the system facilitated transactions and enhanced business professionalism. Reported benefits included faster transactions, more organized bookkeeping, and the elimination of the need for cash change. The results indicate that with proper guidance, MSMEs can adapt to digital payment technologies. Therefore, QRIS implementation should be continuously developed through collaboration among government, service providers, and academic institutions to strengthen MSME competitiveness in border areas.

The stable and sustainable livestock feed availability is one of the main challenges in the livestock sector, especially during the dry season. This condition affects the availability of forage for animal feed. This community service program, conducted by the Kandidat Magister Mengabdi (KMM) of the Animal Science Graduate Program at the Universitas Islam Malang (Unisma), aims to optimize silage production as an alternative feed reserve for farmers in the Malang area. The limited knowledge of alternative feed options among farmers prompted the implementation of this activity. The program was conducted through counselling, hands-on training, and mentoring on silage production using local materials such as elephant grass, corn, and agricultural waste. The high enthusiasm of farmers in participating in the counselling and practical sessions reflects their strong desire to survive during the dry season. The results of the activity indicate improved understanding and skills among farmers in processing and storing silage. Furthermore, there was an increased awareness of the importance of long-term feed management. This community service program makes a real contribution to strengthening food security and promoting the sustainability of small-scale livestock farming in the targeted area.

Learning assistance for students at Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPA) Jannatul Firdaus using the Iqro method is an effort to develop students' ability to read the Qur'an and deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings. This community service aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Iqro method in improving Qur'anic reading skills, comprehension of Islamic values, learning motivation, as well as students' listening and speaking skills. This activity employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through direct observation, interviews with educators, and document analysis. During the learning assistance period, students received intensive instruction using the Iqro method, which included the introduction of hijaiyah letters, step-by-step Iqro lessons, and interactive activities to strengthen students’ understanding. The results of the program indicate that the learning assistance using the Iqro method had a positive impact on improving students’ ability to read the Qur'an, understand Islamic teachings, increase their motivation to learn, and enhance their communication skills. Through a structured approach and well-organized learning schedules, students at TPA Jannatul Firdaus were able to make significant progress in their Qur'anic studies

Mass circumcision often induces anxiety in children, potentially affecting their experience and recovery process. This community service initiative aimed to optimize children's mental preparedness and reduce pre-mass circumcision anxiety through educational and interactive play interventions. The activity took place in Nagwen Village, Klaten Regency, Central Java, involving 41 children aged 7-11 years. The approach employed included interactive educational sessions on the circumcision procedure, its benefits, and strategies for managing discomfort, interspersed with relevant educational games. Additionally, simple relaxation techniques and open question-and-answer sessions were implemented to create a safe and comfortable environment for the children.Observational results indicated an increase in children's understanding of the circumcision process and a significant reduction in anxiety indicators, such as restlessness and repetitive questioning. Children appeared calmer, more cooperative, and enthusiastic, and were able to undergo the circumcision procedure smoothly. Most experienced moderate anxiety with an average score of 6.97, as measured by a self-assessment questionnaire. This program demonstrates that education presented in an enjoyable manner, combined with interactive play, is highly effective in preparing children psychologically for circumcision. Online gambling (judol) and illegal online loans (pinjol) are two negative phenomena that have rapidly grown in the digital era. Judol involves online betting with the promise of quick profits, but often results in financial loss, addiction, and social disruption. Illegal pinjol offer easy, unsecured loans with high interest rates and aggressive collection efforts that harm borrowers and misuse personal data. Both practices have serious economic, social, and psychological impacts, especially for less educated communities and those experiencing financial difficulties. To address these issues, legal education and outreach are crucial to increase public understanding of the dangers and regulations related to illegal judol and pinjol. Students from the 74th batch of the UIN SMH Banten Community Service Program (KKN) conducted outreach in Pageragung Village, Walantaka, with the aim of equipping teenagers and parents to recognize operational methods, avoid pitfalls, and play an active role in reporting illegal practices. These efforts are expected to strengthen legal awareness and community socioeconomic resilience, thereby creating a safer, healthier, and more productive environment in facing the challenges of digital technology.

Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta sebagai kota pelajar menghadapi tantangan serius penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan generasi muda, khususnya di Dusun Priyan, Kelurahan Trirenggo, Kabupaten Bantul. Penelitian pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pencegahan penyalahgunaan NAPZA melalui sosialisasi terstruktur. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan interaktif dengan materi dari BNN Kabupaten Bantul, dilanjutkan evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner pra dan pasca sosialisasi untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan tentang bahaya NAPZA, langkah hukum, peran keluarga, dan rehabilitasi. Studi ini juga menghasilkan media edukasi berupa poster “Say No to Drugs” yang disebarkan ke masyarakat. Pendekatan kolaboratif ini efektif meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesiapan masyarakat untuk aktif mencegah penyalahgunaan narkoba di lingkungan Dusun Priyan.

Membangun Membangun Kesadaran Anti-Bullying di Desa Gebanganom Wetan melalui Sosialisasi dan Edukasi

Bullying merupakan salah satu permasalahan sosial yang hingga kini masih marak terjadi, baik di lingkungan pendidikan maupun masyarakat secara umum. Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) dalam laporan tahunannya mencatat bahwa sepanjang tahun 2024 terdapat 2.057 kasus pengaduan terkait pelanggaran hak anak. Dari jumlah tersebut, sebagian besar terkait dengan pengasuhan bermasalah, diikuti kasus kekerasan seksual, kekerasan fisik dan psikis, hingga persoalan akses pendidikan, tujuan dari penulisan artikel pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi potensi bullying yang terjadi di Desa Gebanganom Wetan, menjelaskan implementasi program sosialisasi anti-bullying yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN), serta menganalisis dampak yang ditimbulkan terhadap pemahaman dan sikap anak-anak dalam mencegah perilaku bullying. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui berbagai kegiatan edukatif seperti sosialisasi anti-bullying, nonton bareng film edukatif serta monitoring dan evaluasi melalui angket. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sosialisasi anti-bullying yang dilaksanakan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta mengenai definisi, bentuk, dan dampak dari perilaku perundungan, setelah pemutaran film, diskusi yang dipandu fasilitator berhasil menggali persepsi peserta dan menghubungkan konflik dalam film dengan situasi nyata di lingkungan mereka, hasil angket menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai jenis-jenis bullying dan cara melaporkannya.

Abstract

This Field Work Practice (PKL) activity aims to improve financial literacy among micro business owners through digital financial record training using the SEPRAN application. The activity was conducted at Warung Desa Prima Bumijo and TechnoLaundry, which are community-based business units. This program was motivated by the low level of financial management skills among small business owners, particularly in keeping accurate and organized financial records. Such limitations often lead to difficulties in monitoring cash flow and distinguishing personal from business finances.The implementation methods included initial observation, basic financial literacy education, demonstration of SEPRAN application usage, and hands-on assistance for participants. The SEPRAN application was chosen because of its user-friendly features that enable users to record income, expenses, and generate financial reports automatically.The results of this activity show that the training effectively enhanced participants’ understanding of the importance of digital financial record-keeping. Participants were able to use the SEPRAN application to record daily transactions, monitor profit and loss, and manage their business finances more systematically. Therefore, this program contributes positively to improving financial literacy and efficiency in financial management among MSMEs at Warung Desa Prima Bumijo and TechnoLaundry.

Program Malam Bina Iman dan Taqwa (MABIT) merupakan salah satu bentuk pembinaan keagamaan yang ditujukan untuk penguatan karakter Islami dengan menanamkan dan memperkuat nilai-nilai karakter Islami pada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Cibinong Hilir, Cianjur dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, penghayatan, dan pengamalan ajaran Islam melalui aktivitas ibadah, kajian keislaman, serta pembiasaan akhlak mulia. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pendidikan masyarakat melalui kajian, pelatihan ibadah, serta pendampingan nilai-nilai spiritual dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran religius, disiplin beribadah, dan terbentuknya perilaku sosial yang lebih baik di kalangan peserta. Dengan demikian, MABIT terbukti efektif sebagai strategi penguatan karakter Islami yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat di era globalisasi. Kesimpulan program malam bina iman dan taqwa (MABIT) mampu membangun karakter yang islami sehingga terciptanya masyarakat yang baldatun thayyibatun wa rabbun ghafur yaitu suatu masayarakat yang ideal yang memiliki kebaikan alam, kemakmuran, dan penduduk yang berperilaku baik sehingga mendapatkan ampunan dari Allah SWT.

Relayout dan Pengurangan Waktu Siklus sebagai Solusi Peningkatan Produktivitas UMKM Pembuatan Minuman Herbal KUPS Etnobotani melalui Kegiatan Pengabdian

This community service program was designed to optimise of the flow materials, intermediate products, and finished products in the herbal drink processing enterprise managed by the Social Forestry Business Group Padusi Etnobotani in Lambung Bukit, Batu Busuak, Padang City. The intervention sought to shorten the workflow, reduce waiting time, and enhance both work convenience and labour productivity. Activities comprised structured counselling and hands-on mentoring on facility layout improvement in a production kitchen measuring four by two point five metres. The stages included mapping the production sequence using a process flow diagram, measuring the time and distance of material handling, analysing activity relationships, redesigning the facility layout, and designing a multifunction workbench for washing, draining, and cutting raw materials. The initial assessment revealed an elongated process flow with four material transfers, backtracking movements, and a non-hygienic washing area located outside the production room. Implementation of the proposed layout consolidated all main activities within a single room, eliminated backtracking, reduced transportation time from 50 to 10 minutes, and decreased cycle time from 760 to 720 minutes. These improvements enhanced hygiene conditions, ergonomic comfort, and the potential output per production period, thereby strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of the herbal drink enterprise based on protected forest resources.

Kesehatan jiwa merupakan bagian integral dari kesehatan secara keseluruhan yang berkontribusi penting terhadap kualitas hidup individu dan produktivitas masyarakat. Namun, perhatian terhadap kesehatan jiwa di tingkat masyarakat, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan dan pinggiran sungai, masih tergolong rendah. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini adalah pemberdayaan relawan kesehatan jiwa masyarakat (RAKAT Jiwa) dalam kemadirian kesehatan guna membangun Desa Siaga Sehat Jiwa melalui pendekatan Fokus Group Discussion (FGD), sosialisasi, pemilihan Relawan Kesehatan Jiwa, penjelasan tugas dan peran relawan Keswa melalui pelatihan. Pemilihan Relawan Kesehatan Jiwa sebanyak 5-10 orang yang dipilih dengan memperhatikan beberapa syarat menjadi relawan kesehatan jiwa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini terbentuknya relawan kesehatan jiwa yang peduli dan tanggap terhadap permasalahan kesehatan jiwa yang ada di wilayah desanya. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan cara skrinning SRQ 29, sosialisasi tentang kesehatan jiwa, pelatihan managemen stress paska bencana banjir, sosialisasi peran dan tugas relawan kesehatan jiwa 4 dan pelatihan simulasi pemeriksaan deteksi dini keluarga sehat jiwa. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif dalam hal peningkatan pengetahuan relawan kesehatan jiwa tentang kesehatan jiwa dan penanganan stress paska bencana banjir.

Tanjung Bunga Village, located in Wawolesea District, North Konawe Regency, is one of the coastal villages endowed with abundant natural resources, both terrestrial and marine. Most of its residents work as fishermen and live in houses facing the sea. However, the use of home yards has not yet been optimized as a source of food or for improving family nutrition. Based on the identification results, two main problems were found: the low awareness of the community regarding the importance of yard utilization and the lack of knowledge about proper management techniques. To address these issues, a community service activity was carried out through a socialization program on yard utilization in coastal areas. This activity aimed to enhance the awareness and knowledge of fishing communities about the importance of productive yard management. The results showed an increase in understanding and motivation among participants to utilize their home yards as alternative food sources and as an effort to improve family nutrition. It can be concluded that the socialization program has successfully increased participants’ awareness of the importance of yard utilization to strengthen food security and community nutrition.

Sosialisasi Peningkatan Kesadaran Orang Tua Tentang Pencegahan Pernikahan Usia Dini di Kelurahan Wonoasih Probolinggo

Early marriage remains a significant social issue in Indonesia, including in Wonoasih Village, Probolinggo City. Low parental awareness of the negative impacts of early marriage is a major contributing factor to its persistence. This community service research employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method to enhance parents’ understanding and awareness of the importance of preventing early marriage. The activities were conducted through preparation, interactive socialization, and evaluation stages using pre-test and post-test assessments. Results indicated a significant increase in parental knowledge and a positive shift in attitudes supporting the postponement of marriage until children reach maturity. Despite cultural resistance challenges, the participatory approach proved effective in empowering parents as agents of change within the community. These findings suggest the need for sustained socialization programs involving local stakeholders to effectively reduce the incidence of early marriage.

Training on Processing Cocoa Husk Waste into Compost as an Effort to Promote Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable Agriculture

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dengan skema Pemberdayaan Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bekerja sama dengan Kelompok Tani Inovasi di Nagari Sungai Talang, Kecamatan Guguak yang aktif melakukan budidaya kakao. Komoditas kakao adalah salah satu komoditas potensial di daerah ini, pada tahun 2024 luas lahan kakao produktif di Kecamatan Guguak mencapai 362 Ha, merupakan produsen kakao terbesar kedua di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota dengan total produksi 165,80 ton/tahun pada tahun 2024. Seiring tingginya produksi, timbul permasalahan limbah pascapanen berupa kulit (73,7%) dan pulp kakao (10,1%) yang menumpuk serta berdampak pada lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, dilakukan pelatihan pengolahan limbah kulit kakao dan pulp menjadi kompos, dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam pengolahan limbah kulit kakao, serta mengurangi limbah kakao guna mewujudkan pertanian kakao ramah lingkungan. This community service program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of traditional herbal medicine (jamu) MSME actors in Wonoasih Sub-district, Probolinggo City, regarding the process of obtaining halal certification. Halal certification is an essential instrument to strengthen product competitiveness, increase consumer trust, and support business sustainability based on the principles of halal and thayyib. The method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving the active participation of participants throughout all stages of the program. The activities included socialization and counseling on the urgency of halal certification, group discussions to identify challenges, technical training on the use of the Halal Information System (SIHALAL), individual assistance in preparing administrative documents, and simulation practices of applying halal standards in herbal medicine production. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of the halal certification procedures, their ability to prepare required documents, and their readiness to implement halal standards in their respective business units. This program demonstrates that a participatory approach effectively encourages MSMEs to be more prepared in fulfilling halal certification requirements while fostering greater awareness of product halalness. Consequently, this program contributes to strengthening the capacity of local MSMEs and supports the development of a halal-based economy at the regional level.

For the community services activities, Politeknik Negeri Medan’s lecturers, colaborated with the lecturers form Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia to implement the digital marketing at the Kafe Tenank in Kota Medan. This community service activity began with a presentation of material on digital marketing by the speaker and book author, followed by direct implementation of digital marketing. Community Services’ Team implemented the digital marketing process at the Kafe Tenank with the involvement of culinary influencer from Medan,Kulineran. Data that used in this digital marketing content were the location information, menu, prices of the products dan testimonies form the current customers of Kafe Tenank. The result of the community service’s activity was digital content that already published on social media of Medan.Kulineran collaborated with the social media of Kafe Tenank and also shared by the Politeknik Negeri Medan. The implementation of digital marketing expected to raise the number of visit the customers and potential customers. Furthermore, the digital content could be tools of branding for Kafe Tenank. At the end, the raise of customer’s visit will impact the revenue and income of the Kafe Tenank.

Cupu Manik Keramik is a producer of earthenware and decorative ceramics located in Plered District, Purwakarta, which faces limited market reach due to the absence of digital marketing and reliance on conventional promotion. This community service program aims to enhance business visibility through the implementation of promotional strategies using short-form social media platforms. The approach involved observation, interviews, content creation, and publication assistance conducted from August to September 2025. A total of eleven contents were published, including product catalogs, production processes, stock documentation, promotional materials, and store information. The highest-performing contents were the product catalog and stock documentation, while the lowest were product documentation and store information. These findings indicate that informative and visually varied content is more effective in attracting audience attention and providing initial exposure. Therefore, digital marketing through short-form social media has the potential to become an effective strategy for expanding the market reach of craft-based MSMEs.

Program Kuliah Praktek Bermasyarakat (KPB/PKL) merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat
yang bertujuan mengimplementasikan pengetahuan akademik mahasiswa di dunia nyata. Kegiatan ini
dilakukan di UMKM Mugorame Purwakarta, sebuah usaha kuliner yang berlokasi di Kecamatan
Bungursari. Fokus utama kegiatan adalah pendampingan dalam pencatatan keuangan sederhana dan
pengelolaan pemasaran digital. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, melibatkan
pemilik usaha dalam tahap observasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemilik
UMKM berhasil memahami konsep dasar pencatatan keuangan dengan menerapkan format jurnal umum
harian dan laporan kas sederhana berbasis spreadsheet. Selain itu, pemilik juga mampu mengelola promosi
melalui media sosial dan platform digital seperti GoFood dan GrabFood. Dampak kegiatan ini mencakup
peningkatan literasi keuangan, efisiensi pencatatan transaksi, serta perluasan jangkauan pemasaran.

This mentoring program aims to support the use of Instagram as a promotional medium for instant herbal
drink products at UMKM Snack Rahayu. Prior to the program, the business relied on door-to-door sales
and had not used social media in a structured manner, resulting in limited market reach. The mentoring
process included initial observation, problem identification, content concept development, and the creation
and publication of initial trial content. During the program, three posts were published to assess audience
responses and observe Instagram’s early promotional potential. The analysis indicates that simple content
concepts and appropriate visual formats generated initial signs of increased interaction. Among the three
posts published as initial trial content, video emerged as the most effective format, reinforcing that
appropriate visual selection influences audience responses. The program also improved the owner’s
understanding of posting consistency and visual coherence in building a basic digital identity, enabling
the continued independent use of Instagram.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi, prospek, dan tantangan budidaya ikan lele di Desa Titi Putih, Kecamatan Lima Puluh Pesisir, Kabupaten Batu Bara. Desa Titi Putih memiliki kondisi lingkungan yang mendukung, baik dari ketersediaan lahan, sumber air, maupun minat terhadap masyarakat sektor perikanan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan petani, dan studi pustaka terkait budidaya ikan lele. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budidaya ikan lele di Desa Titi Putih berpotensi memberikan kontribusi ekonomi yang signifikan bagi masyarakat, terutama dalam meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga dan menciptakan lapangan kerja baru. Namun, beberapa kendala yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan modal, kurangnya pengetahuan teknis, dan terbatasnya akses pemasaran. Dengan pendampingan, pelatihan, dan dukungan dari pemerintah maupun swasta, budidaya ikan lele di Desa Titi Putih berpotensi untuk berkembang lebih optimal dan berkelanjutan.

Kegiatan ini didedikasikan untuk masyarakat dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran warga Desa Batu Salang, Kecamatan Cermee, Kabupaten Bondowoso, mengenai bahaya dan dampak negatif pernikahan dini. Sosialisasi dilakukan di Balai Desa Batu. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan ini meliputi pendidikan, partisipasi, dan persuasi melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi, dan sesi tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman peserta mengenai batas usia menikah sesuai dengan Undang-Undang No. 16 Tahun 2019 telah meningkat, dan pentingnya kesiapan fisik, mental, dan ekonomi sebelum menikah telah lebih dikenal luas. Sebanyak 80% peserta mampu menjelaskan dengan benar penyebab dan risiko yang terkait dengan pernikahan dini. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan pemahaman bahwa menunda pernikahan hingga usia yang lebih matang bukanlah pelanggaran agama, melainkan bentuk tanggung jawab sosial dan moral. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini telah terbukti memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dan dapat dijadikan contoh kegiatan pencegahan pernikahan dini yang berkelanjutan di desa-desa lain.

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan secara interdisipliner, lintas sektoral dan komprehensif. Pada kesempatan ini, kegiatan KKN dilakukan bertempat di Desa Sei Raja Kecamatan Medang Deras Kabupaten Batubara, yang dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 14 Juli 2025 s/d 02 Agustus 2025. Pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN ini difokuskan pada partisipasi peran masyarakat dalam membangun desa sehat dan sejahtera. Metode pelaksanaan program KKN dilakukan dengan melakukan penyuluhan/sosialisasi, edukasi dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan Program KKN telah dilaksanakan secara keseluruhan dan terlaksana sesuai dengan yang diharapkan dan berjalan dengan lancar. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN, menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat Desa Sei Raja terhadap partisipasi dalam membangun desa semakin meningkat. Masyarakat sadar dan paham pentingnya peran mereka dalam pembangunan desa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasme dan keaktifan masyarakat dalam berpartisipasi dan berkontribusi pada program yang dijalankan. Tentunya hasil tersebut menjadi catatan penting dalam pelaksanaan KKN ini. Peningkatan kesadaran dan pemahaman yang didapat dalam program KKN ini diharapkan dapat membuat masyarakat kedepannya lebih aktif berpartisipasi dan berkontribusi untuk bersama-sama menciptakan desa yang sehat dan sejahtera.

Abstrak

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaks anakan di Desa Wisata Sei Raja dengan fokus pada pembuatan plang batas dusun sebagai upaya meningkatkan identitas dan aksesibilitas wilayah. Identitas wilayah menjadi unsur penting dalam membangun citra desa wisata, sedangkan aksesibilitas berkaitan erat dengan kemudahan masyarakat maupun wisatawan dalam mengenali batas administratif dan arah lokasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui koordinasi dengan perangkat desa, partisipasi masyarakat, serta pemasangan plang batas di titik strategis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa plang batas dusun tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai penanda administratif, tetapi juga memperkuat karakter lokal dan memberikan kesan positif bagi wisatawan. Selain itu, keberadaan plang batas mendukung peningkatan aksesibilitas dengan memperjelas jalur masuk, memudahkan navigasi, serta mendorong promosi desa wisata secara lebih terarah. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak nyata berupa meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya identitas wilayah serta tumbuhnya partisipasi aktif dalam pengembangan desa wisata. STRATEGI PENGELOLAAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH YANG SEHAT DI WILAYAH PESISIR: STUDI KASUS DI SDN 107427 PEMATANG GUNUNG

School environmental hygiene is an important indicator in supporting a healthy and comfortable learning process. A dirty environment can be a source of disease and create an atmosphere that is not conducive to students. This outreach program was implemented in response to various environmental health issues found at SDN 107427 Pematang Gunung. Based on initial surveys and situation analysis, the main issue faced was the habit of littering, which impacts the comfort and health of the learning environment. The public health student group conducted this activity in an educational and participatory manner. The activities included providing materials using visual media, interactive quizzes, waste sorting, ice-breaking activities, and providing creatively designed segregated waste bins. Students were given pre- and post-campaign tests to measure changes in knowledge and behavior. Evaluation results showed that students became more aware of school environmental cleanliness. One example was an increase in the number of students aware of scattered trash (from 63% to 84%) and an increase in behavior reminding peers (from 83% to 93%). Additionally, negative behaviors such as writing on walls and desks decreased. This activity demonstrates that clean and healthy habits in schools can be fostered in an enjoyable and student-centered manner. It is hoped that such activities will be repeated to strengthen a clean culture within the educational environment.

Digital data processing is a strategic effort to enhance understanding and skills in utilizing information technology for data management. This activity is motivated by the need for efficiency, accuracy, and security in storing and processing data in the digital era. The training method is conducted through a combination of material delivery, hands-on practice, and intensive guidance, enabling participants to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills in using digital tools.

The materials presented include the fundamentals of digitization, the use of data processing software, digital archive management, and an understanding of data security. The training participants come from various institutional or individual backgrounds who share a common need: transitioning from manual systems to digital systems.

The results of the training indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding and skills in carrying out the data digitization process. In addition, participants are better prepared to implement digital technology within their respective work environments. Thus, this training provides a tangible contribution to improving data management quality and supports the achievement of broader digital transformation.

This community service activity aims to foster and strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit of SMK YADIKA Natar students through training in local product innovation based on the potential of local resources. As future young entrepreneurs, SMK students need to have the ability to innovate in order to develop creative products that are economically valuable and highly competitive. This activity was motivated by the low interest of students in entrepreneurship and their limited understanding of how to turn local potential into promising business opportunities. The training was conducted through an intensive two-day programme with a participatory approach, which included the delivery of basic entrepreneurship material, the development of product ideas based on local potential, product innovation practices, and simple marketing simulations. Each training session was designed to foster active participant involvement, strengthen group collaboration, and instil values of creativity and independence. The activity was evaluated through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the increase in students' knowledge and changes in their entrepreneurial attitudes. The results showed a significant improvement in the students' understanding of entrepreneurial concepts, their ability to innovate, and their confidence in designing new business ideas. In addition, the students also showed high enthusiasm and awareness of the importance of creativity as the main capital in entrepreneurship. This training is expected to be a step forward in developing the entrepreneurial spirit among students.

Ekosistem laut rentan rusak akibat dari perubahan iklim, eksploitasi berlebih dan pencemaran laut. Kendala upaya konservasi adalah kurangnya pemahaman publik akan pentingnya melestarikan laut. Peningkatan pemahaman harus dilakukan di berbagai wilayah. Kesadaran siswa mengenai urgensi pelestarian ekosistem laut, dapat ditingkatkan melalui pendidikan yang bersifat interaktif dan berorientasi lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi pemahaman ekosistem laut bagi siswa/i SDN 04 Moramo Utara bertema “Pahlawan Kecil Penjaga Laut”. Kegiatan ini berupa pengenalan dan pentingnya menjaga ekosistem laut. Metode yang digunakan presentasi, diskusi dan tanya jawab dengan semua anak didik kelas 1 sampai 6 SD yang berjumlah 136 Murid. Untuk menimbulkan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap ekosistem laut, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan lomba menggambar yang diikuti oleh murid kelas 1 sampai 4 SD. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa siswa/i memiliki antusias yang tinggi terhadap topik ekosistem laut. Mampu menjelaskan fungsi dan kenapa kita harus menjaga laut serta memiliki rasa tanggung jawab akan kelestarian laut.

Indonesia is one of the countries with extensive mangrove forests, covering around 22.8% of the world's total mangrove area. Mangrove ecosystems are a natural resource that plays an important role in human survival, and their existence is crucial in maintaining ecological balance in coastal areas. In addition, mangroves also play a significant role in the economy. This activity has a specific goal of preserving the mangrove ecosystem and maintaining the marine environment, particularly in the coastal area of Tanjung Bunga Village, North Konawe. This activity is carried out in four stages, namely: observation, program planning, mangrove socialization, and mangrove planting. The mangrove planting was carried out with the direct assistance of the National Collaboration Community Service Team, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Halu Oleo University. This activity can provide enormous benefits for the coastal environment, especially in helping to restore the condition of mangroves on the coast of Tanjung Bunga Village, North Konawe. Mangrove restoration in the coastal area of Tanjung Bunga Village demonstrates that a collaborative and participatory approach can yield significant positive impacts in efforts to preserve a sustainable marine environment. It has been proven that by involving local communities in the mangrove restoration process, we not only protect the coastal ecosystem but also improve community welfare through the economic benefits that can be derived from the existence of that ecosystem.

This community service activity aims to provide education and practical application of sustainable plastic waste management through the Edu Environmental program, utilizing plastic waste as an additional material for coral transplantation containers. The main focus of this program is the utilization of plastic waste as an additional material in the manufacture of coral transplantation containers, as an environmentally friendly marine ecosystem restoration effort. This activity was carried out in coastal areas that have the potential for coral reef damage due to human activities and plastic pollution. The implementation method includes socialization to PKBM Anak Pesisir Kota Kendari, to coastal communities, technical training in making transplantation media from a mixture of cement and plastic waste, as well as direct practice of planting transplantation containers in the sea. The results of the activity showed an increased understanding of PKBM students and the community regarding the importance of waste management and marine conservation, as well as initial success in the manufacture and installation of coral transplantation media from plastic waste additives. This program is expected to become an applicable environmental education model and encourage active community participation, especially PKBM students, in the preservation of marine ecosystems.

The 2025 Regular Community Service Program (KKN) of UIN Jakarta in Sawangan Baru developed an informal school model based on educational games designed to enhance the creativity and self-confidence of children aged 6–14 years. This study also examines the extent to which this approach is able to stimulate creativity and build self-confidence in children aged 6–14 years through the interaction between the 4Ps theory of creativity and the concept of self-efficacy. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. This qualitative approach aims to describe systematically, factually, and accurately the facts and relationships between the phenomena studied. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the informal school based on educational games in Sawangan Baru has succeeded in becoming an alternative learning space that is more participatory, fun, and appropriate to the social conditions of urban communities. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Kelompok 009 di Desa Sumur Welut RW 03 berfokus pada penanaman 25 pohon buah sebagai upaya peningkatan ketahanan pangan dan pelestarian lingkungan. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan participatory action research (PAR) yang menekankan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam setiap tahap kegiatan. Pelaksanaan penanaman pohon buah seperti mangga, jambu, belimbing, kelengkeng, alpukat, dan srikaya dilakukan pada lahan-lahan kosong yang berpotensi dikembangkan, sehingga memberikan manfaat ekologis berupa peningkatan kualitas udara, penyerapan karbon, penurunan suhu, dan perbaikan kesuburan tanah. Selain itu, keberadaan pohon buah menciptakan peluang pemanfaatan hasil panen sebagai sumber pangan sehat dan potensi pengembangan ekonomi warga melalui UMKM berbasis hasil kebun. Program ini juga memperkuat nilai sosial berupa gotong royong, solidaritas, dan rasa memiliki terhadap lingkungan. Traditional medicine MSMEs in rural areas have significant potential as economic drivers and preservers of local wisdom. However, limited marketing networks and incomplete legal compliance remain major obstacles for their development. This article aims to analyze relevant marketing strategies and the urgency of product legality for traditional medicine MSMEs, particularly in rural areas around Medan. The implementation method used a qualitative approach through community education, counseling, and MSME group consultations. Data were obtained from interviews, observations, and regulatory documents related to business legality. The results show that digital and community-based marketing strategies have proven effective in expanding market reach. Meanwhile, fulfilling legality requirements through BPOM distribution permits and halal certification is essential to increase consumer trust and access modern markets. The study concludes that combining innovative marketing strategies with strict legal compliance is the key to the sustainability of traditional medicine MSMEs in rural areas.

Data collection instruments included field observations, semi-structured interviews, and simple questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of prevention programs had an impact on increasing students’ awareness of the dangers of smoking and violence, fostering healthy peer communication, and building social support from teachers and the school environment. The conclusion of this study is that a healthy school program can be effective when combined with continuous education, creative campaigns, and consistent school regulations.

The low income of PAUD teachers is currently caused by the provision of teacher salaries which are only funded by the school, because they are only appointed by the principal. The obligations and workload of PAUD teachers which are almost the same as ASN teachers are not commensurate with the income and spirit of dedication carried out with the salary they receive, even what is received is smaller than the salary of a laborer. This condition makes PAUD teachers continue to struggle to get a decent income and hope to achieve good welfare. This study aims to: 1) find out the strategies of PAUD teachers, especially in Bandung Regency, in carrying out their roles as entrepreneurs, 2) find out the activities of PAUD teachers in facing economic resilience through their business paths, and 3) find out the obstacles faced by PAUD teachers when undergoing entrepreneurship, and its impact on PAUD teacher income. This study uses a qualitative approach with a naturalistic qualitative descriptive method. The data sources consist of 7 respondents of PAUD teachers who are entrepreneurs from 3 PAUD institutions that are members of the Small Micro Medium Enterprises (UMKM community) in Bandung Regency. The results of the study show that PAUD teachers who are entrepreneurs have better economic resilience, but there are obstacles found, namely equipment and marketing that are still lacking in support, so it is necessary to develop business strategies through digital marketing and other special strategies so that the business continues to increase.

This community service activity aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of solid waste management at Terang Jaya Scrap Metal and Recyclable Goods Enterprise through the implementation of an innovative hydraulic press machine. Previously, the process of packing aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and cardboard was carried out manually, requiring considerable time, large storage space, and intensive labor. The program was conducted through several stages, including needs assessment, design and fabrication of the press machine, handover to the partner, and training on operation and maintenance. The results showed that the use of the press machine reduced waste volume by up to 70% and shortened the packing time from an average of 25 minutes to 8–10 minutes per batch. In addition to improving operational efficiency, the partner demonstrated increased skills in machine operation and greater awareness of the importance of efficient and environmentally friendly waste management. This program has had a positive impact on productivity and business sustainability, serving as a model for the application of appropriate technology that can be replicated by similar small-scale recycling enterprises to support more effective and sustainable waste management practices.

This study investigates the effectiveness of visual language training in strengthening self-branding skills among children at the Dharma Laksana Orphanage through social media. The problem addressed in this research is the limited visual literacy and inconsistent digital identity often found in orphanage-based youth, which can hinder their ability to participate in today’s visually driven communication landscape. The training aimed to enhance their visual comprehension, content-production abilities, and confidence in developing a safe and consistent online identity. Using a participatory method, the program combined observation, content analysis, and pre–post assessments to evaluate changes in technical and psychosocial competencies. The results show substantial improvement in participants’ ability to interpret and create visual materials, articulate a personal aesthetic, and engage more confidently with digital platforms. Audience feedback also played a supportive role in reinforcing their emerging digital identities. Overall, the findings indicate that visual language training can serve as an effective empowerment strategy, helping orphanage youth build stronger self-presentation skills and participate more meaningfully in online spaces.

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Tematik ini bertujuan untuk menangani tiga masalah utama yang ada di Desa Balongbendo: kurangnya kesadaran akan sanitasi, kurangnya literasi digital bagi anak-anak, dan kurangnya perhatian terhadap pengelolaan sampah lingkungan. Salah satu masalah sanitasi adalah kualitas air yang buruk dan kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang cara menjaga sumber air. Sebaliknya, meluasnya akses ke perangkat tanpa literasi digital yang cukup meningkatkan risiko terpapar konten yang tidak sesuai usia dan mengganggu fokus belajar anak. Sementara itu, kebiasaan membuang sampah secara bercampur dan kurangnya fasilitas pemilahan menunjukkan kurangnya kepedulian lingkungan. Untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan program KKN secara sistematis, penelitian ini menggunakan Pendekatan Kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, dokumentasi, dan observasi; triangulasi digunakan untuk memastikan validitas data. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa program ini memberikan dampak positif yang nyata. Tampak adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya air bersih dan sanitasi, terlihat dari perubahan perilaku mereka, seperti mengecek kualitas air dan membersihkan bak mandi secara rutin. Program edukasi mengenai gadget berhasil membantu anak-anak mengurangi waktu bermain gawai, meningkatkan interaksi sosial, serta beralih ke aktivitas fisik dan kreatif. Selain itu, edukasi tentang pemilahan sampah berhasil mengubah kebiasaan lama masyarakat menjadi kebiasaan baru dalam memilah sampah organik dan anorganik. Keberhasilan program didukung oleh pendekatan yang persuasif dan demonstratif, serta kerja sama yang kuat antara mahasiswa, perangkat desa, dan masyarakat. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan KKN berhasil menciptakan perubahan sosial yang nyata melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif, namun keberlanjutan program dalam jangka panjang memerlukan peran aktif perangkat desa.

Financial record management for MSMEs in Wukirsari Village still faces challenges such as manual recording, lack of accounting knowledge, and limited time. This study aims to improve MSME capabilities in systematic financial recording using the digital SIAPIK application through a participatory approach. The implementation method includes socialization, account creation and transaction recording practice, independent exercises, and joint evaluation. Results show enhanced mastery of SIAPIK application use and accurate, complete financial report preparation. The conclusion states that digital assistance and training effectively support better financial management and sustainable MSME business development in the village. Continued mentoring with strengthened digital literacy and accounting is recommended.

This community service activity was motivated by the low level of financial literacy among residents at the neighborhood level, which often makes them vulnerable to fraudulent investments. The Eduwira Bhakti KKN Team 13 from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta conducted a counseling session on Monday, August 11, 2025, in RW 005 Pondok Aren with the aim of providing basic understanding of safe investment instruments, such as mutual funds and gold, as well as simple strategies for saving and investing. The method used was community education through interactive socialization and open discussion with residents. The event was attended by more than 30 participants from diverse backgrounds. The results showed an increase in community understanding of basic investment concepts and the emergence of critical awareness to avoid illegal investment schemes. Positive responses were demonstrated through residents’ enthusiasm during the Q&A session and recommendations for local government and related institutions to support sustainable financial literacy programs. Thus, this activity contributes to community economic empowerment through improved investment literacy.

This community service program was conducted at SD Negeri 040459 Berastagi with the aim of enhancing students’ understanding of the meaning of divine belief and its application in developing mutual respect among different religions. The methods employed included interactive socialization, educational games, illustrated storytelling, and value reflection activities. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ comprehension of tolerance values and their demonstration of respectful behavior in school life. Teachers also gained new insights into integrating divine values into character education. This program highlights that the contextual implementation of the First Principle of Pancasila effectively strengthens tolerance and fosters a peaceful, harmonious, and civilized learning environment.

Abstract

This Community Service Program focuses on strengthening the competitiveness of novice entrepreneurs in Solok City in response to the growing number of individuals choosing entrepreneurship due to limited formal employment opportunities. Although Solok City has considerable entrepreneurial potential, the managerial capacities of novice entrepreneurs have not yet fully met the demands of an increasingly competitive market. Common challenges include weak business planning, inaccurate calculation of cost of goods sold, limited utilization of digital marketing, and unclear business strategies and target markets. The program aims to enhance entrepreneurial management capabilities through structured and practical training covering business planning, basic financial management, and technology-based marketing strategies. The implementation methods included counseling sessions, interactive discussions, and mentoring for novice entrepreneurs. Evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ competencies, with 82% of participants showing improved ability in developing business plans, 76% demonstrating better understanding of cost calculation, and 79% beginning to effectively utilize digital media for marketing purposes. In addition, approximately 85% of participants exhibited increased commitment and readiness to manage their businesses sustainably. These findings suggest that management training plays an important role in improving the competitiveness of novice entrepreneurs and supports their potential growth into sustainable and competitive local enterprises.

One type of pest that can damage, eat, and disrupt the production process of rice plants is bird pests. Pest attacks on rice plants, both directly and indirectly, can cause a significant decrease in production. One method of pest control that can be applied effectively by farmers is the installation of nets on rice plants. This community service activity was carried out in Sidokepung Village, Buduran District, Sidoarjo Regency with the aim of knowing the application of nets on rice panicles as a protection against bird attacks, as well as evaluating the impacts caused after its application. The implementation method was carried out in a participatory and educational manner through direct demonstrations. The results of the activity showed that technically, net installation was carried out by covering the top of the rice plant using nets to prevent birds from entering, while still allowing sunlight and air circulation to reach the plants. The use of nets was able to suppress bird populations, reduce damage to panicles, and significantly increase yields. Although the initial cost of installation is relatively high, this method has proven effective and worthy of wider development because it is environmentally friendly and supports the efficiency of farmers' work time.

Pendaftaran merek dagang sangat penting untuk melindungi inovasi, memberikan kepastian hukum, dan membedakan produk di pasar, serta memperkuat citra produsen secara global. Namun, data menunjukkan rendahnya kesadaran pelaku usaha mengenai pentingnya pendaftaran merek, dengan hanya 18,7% UMKM di Kota Bandung yang terdaftar antara 2017 hingga 2021. Hal ini mendorong penulis untuk melaksanakan program pendampingan pendaftaran merek di Desa Cipacing, Jatinangor, sebagai kelanjutan dari pendampingan sertifikasi halal, bertujuan meningkatkan kontribusi UMKM terhadap perekonomian sesuai dengan UU No. 20 Tahun 2008 tentang UMKM. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah service learning, yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran akademik dengan praktik di masyarakat. Adapun hasil pengabdian ini menunjukan bahwa pendampingan pengajuan merek dagang untuk usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) di Desa Cipacing, Sumedang, sangat penting dalam memperkuat posisi pelaku UMKM di pasar. Program ini memberikan bimbingan praktis dan dukungan administratif untuk mempermudah proses pendaftaran merek, memastikan pelaku UMKM mendapatkan perlindungan hukum yang diperlukan dan hak eksklusif terhadap merek mereka. Dengan membantu mengatasi kendala teknis dan hukum, program ini mengurangi risiko kesalahan dalam pendaftaran. Perlindungan yang diperoleh tidak hanya menjaga reputasi merek, tetapi juga mendukung keberlangsungan usaha di lingkungan bisnis yang kompetitif. Namun, pengumpulan, distribusi, dan pengelolaan zakat masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, termasuk kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya zakat. Oleh karena itu, pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pendampingan pemahaman zakat menjadi sangat penting untuk mengoptimalkan peran zakat dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan masyarakat dalam setiap tahap, dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi, untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan dampak positif jangka panjang. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukan bahwa zakat berfungsi sebagai instrumen ekonomi untuk mendistribusikan kekayaan secara adil. Dengan pengelolaan yang efektif, zakat dapat mendukung masyarakat miskin, mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi mustahik, dan mengurangi ketimpangan sosial. Pada Kabupaten Bandung, sosialisasi pemahaman zakat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang urgensi zakat dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan lembaga zakat dan tokoh agama untuk memberikan edukasi tentang manfaat dan penyaluran zakat yang sesuai syariat. Pendidikan politik pada pondok pesantren di Indonesia memegang peranan penting dalam proses demokrasi, terutama pada pemilihan kepala daerah (Pilkada). Santri, sebagai generasi muda yang akan menjadi pemimpin masa depan, perlu dibekali pemahaman politik agar dapat berpartisipasi aktif dan bijak dalam demokrasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ialah Participatory Action Research (PAR). Adapun hasil pengabdian ini ialah pemberdayaan santri melalui pendidikan politik di Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, Pondok Pesantren Ulumul Qur’an Al-Mustofa, dan Pondok Pesantren As-Sa’adah di Sumedang menunjukkan keberhasilan pendekatan yang diterapkan. Di Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, kegiatan berfokus pada pemahaman dasar partisipasi politik dan mekanisme pemilihan melalui pemaparan materi, diskusi interaktif, serta simulasi pemilihan. Sementara itu, Pondok Pesantren Ulumul Qur’an Al-Mustofa menggunakan metode studi kasus dan role-play untuk menjelaskan dinamika politik. Adapun di Pondok Pesantren As-Sa’adah, perhatian diberikan pada pengembangan keterampilan kepemimpinan dan partisipasi aktif, dengan diskusi tentang integritas politik dan strategi pemilihan yang memberi santri alat untuk menjadi pemimpin yang efektif. Secara keseluruhan, ketiga pondok pesantren telah berhasil menerapkan pendekatan yang saling melengkapi, menghasilkan santri yang tidak hanya memiliki pengetahuan teoritis tetapi juga keterampilan praktis untuk terlibat dalam pemilihan kepala daerah secara etis dan berintegritas, sehingga mendukung terciptanya pemerintahan yang berkualitas.

Peningkatan timbulan limbah sayur dan buah di Pasar Wosi, Kabupaten Manokwari, menimbulkan persoalan lingkungan seperti bau, pencemaran lindi, dan tingginya beban TPA akibat tidak adanya pemilahan dan pengolahan limbah organik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengelola limbah organik pasar melalui pelatihan pengomposan aerobik, mengevaluasi kualitas kompos yang dihasilkan, serta menerapkan kompos pada tanaman hortikultura untuk melihat efektivitasnya. Metode yang digunakan meliputi koordinasi dengan stakeholder, edukasi teori, praktik pembuatan kompos menggunakan bahan limbah pasar, dan EM11, serta monitoring proses fermentasi selama 30 hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingginya partisipasi masyarakat dan kemampuan peserta dalam melakukan pemilahan, pencacahan, pencampuran, hingga pembalikan kompos secara mandiri. Kompos yang dihasilkan memiliki ciri fisik matang dan mampu memperbaiki struktur tanah serta meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung, tomat, dan ubi jalar. Program ini terbukti mengurangi jumlah limbah organik yang dibuang ke TPA serta memberikan manfaat sosial dan ekonomi melalui potensi pemanfaatan kompos sebagai pupuk lokal. Kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi, pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat dalam mendukung program Manokwari 0 Sampah dan pertanian berkelanjutan.

This community empowerment program on Qur’anic literacy for visually impaired learners in Surabaya was implemented using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach to ensure an inclusive, collaborative, and needs-based learning process. The findings indicate that improving technical skills in reading the Qur’an in braille alone was insufficient to meet participants’ comprehensive literacy needs, highlighting the importance of understanding Qur’anic meaning. Through braille reading sessions, tajwīd discussions, and makhraj practice, participants developed an awareness of the necessity of access to tafsīr to enrich their spiritual experience. The tafsīr sessions of Surah Al-Kahf, conducted in a dialogic and adaptive manner, encouraged participants to interpret the verses, ask critical questions, and relate Qur’anic messages to their lived experiences. This process demonstrates that Qur’anic literacy is multidimensional and that PAR effectively fosters an empowering and egalitarian learning environment. Overall, the program not only enhanced technical reading abilities but also cultivated critical awareness, spiritual independence, and sustained motivation for learning, making it a potential model for inclusive Qur’anic literacy initiatives among visually impaired communities elsewhere.

This community service activity was carried out in theArfak Mountains region of West Papua, with the aim of improving the qualityand productivity of sweet potatoes through the implementation of an appropriate harvest handling system. The main problem faced by farmers is the high rate of physical damage to the tubers due to inappropriate harvesting methods, such asthe use of unsuitable tools and methods of lifting the tubers that causeinjuries. This activity was carried out by the outreach team using methods oflectures, field demonstrations, and interactive discussions. The material providedcovered determining the ideal harvest time, safe digging and liftingtechniques, as well as the sorting and grading process for the harvest. The results of the activityshowed an increase in farmers' knowledge and skills inharvest handling, thereby reducing the level of tuber damage and improving the quality ofthe yield. This activity was also followed up with continuous guidance and consultation to ensure the application of the techniques that had been learned. Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the literacy culture and information literacy skills of the community in Marindal II Village, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency. The activity was initiated due to the community’s limited understanding of literacy, which was still confined to basic reading and writing abilities. Using the community education method, the program was carried out through socialization, training, and mentoring activities involving village officials, members of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK), and children at the Marindal II Youth Reading Park (TBM). The implementation took place over two days, from August 22 to 23, 2025. The results indicated an improvement in the community’s understanding of information literacy concepts, their ability to evaluate the credibility of information sources, and an increase in reading and writing interest among children. Moreover, the activity successfully fostered collaboration between local government, the TBM community, and residents in creating an environment that supports a sustainable literacy culture. Therefore, strengthening literacy culture through training and information literacy mentoring serves as an effective strategy to build an intelligent, critical, and competitive society in the digital era.

Activities like this allow students to learn about the usefulness of an object, the importance of innovation, and the potential to create something valuable from seemingly useless materials, such as used paper. This community service activity aims to provide training in making crafts from used paper to students of SD 101506 in Muaratais III Village. The implementation method is conducted through a participatory educational approach that directly involves students in the training process. The results of the activity show that students are very enthusiastic in participating in the training and are able to produce creative works from used paper. This activity not only supports entrepreneurship learning, but also fosters care for the environment. Penelitian ini membahas penerapan prinsip Desain Universal pada interior Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Bekasi, yang dalam era digital berperan tidak hanya sebagai penyedia informasi tetapi juga sebagai pusat inklusi sosial. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi sejauh mana fasilitas perpustakaan memenuhi prinsip-prinsip Desain Universal, meliputi aksesibilitas ruang, furnitur, signage, dan wayfinding. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan observasi lapangan dan analisis komparatif terhadap standar yang berlaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar ruang tidak memenuhi prinsip utama Desain Universal, khususnya pada akses pintu masuk, resepsionis, area koleksi, ruang anak, toilet, serta sistem signage. Kendala utama ditemukan pada kurangnya fasilitas ramah disabilitas seperti ramp, lift, penyesuaian furnitur, serta informasi visual dan taktil yang inklusif. Analisis juga menegaskan pentingnya fleksibilitas penggunaan ruang dan peningkatan faktor keamanan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan Desain Universal masih terbatas, sehingga diperlukan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa penyediaan ramp dan lift, penyesuaian ketinggian furnitur, penggunaan signage inklusif, serta peningkatan fasilitas toilet. Dengan penerapan perbaikan tersebut, perpustakaan dapat bertransformasi menjadi ruang publik yang lebih inklusif, aman, dan setara bagi seluruh pengunjung tanpa terkecuali.

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Cipasung introduced a solution through the Sahabat Buku (Book Friends) Program and Free Book Stalls as initiatives to foster reading interest and expand literacy access. The methods employed include literacy socialization, group discussions, and the provision of reading materials relevant to community needs. The results indicate increased reading motivation, greater student participation in discussions, and the establishment of shared literacy spaces that engage all levels of society. This program demonstrates that literacy is not merely an individual activity but can be transformed into a joyful, interactive, and educational social experience. Agricultural waste and livestock manure that are not properly utilized can cause environmental pollution. This community service aims to reduce environmental pollution through the treatment of agricultural waste and fermented manure to be used as maggot growth media at Arjuna Farm. Maggots are a source of animal protein with good nutritional value, containing 45-50% crude protein. The production of maggots from livestock and agricultural waste can serve as a source of nutrition for livestock. The community service methods include fermenting agricultural waste and manure to create maggot growth media, maggot cultivation training, and the production of dry maggot products that can be used as a source of animal protein feed for poultry. This program also contributes to increasing the income of Arjuna Farm through the produced dry maggot products. It is hoped that through this community service, farmers can access appropriate technology for processing fecal and agricultural waste using fermentation technology to produce a good growth medium for maggots. The results of this service have an impact on environmental preservation and reducing the negative effects of agricultural and fecal waste, as well as contributing to improving their economic welfare. The observation percentages after evaluation at Arjuna Farm were not significantly different from the expected results, with an average of 74% out of 92% in terms of waste processing and farmers' income.

This community service research aims to address the low professional competence of mathematics teachers at the Darussalam Gontor Putri Modern Islamic Boarding School Campus 3, where the majority of teachers (75%) have non-science backgrounds. The intervention was carried out through a Structured Training model consisting of four sessions that focused on strengthening key mathematical concepts (Circles, Trigonometry, and Function Limits) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model training for pedagogical integration. The activity involved 20 teachers and was evaluated using a Pre-Test and Post-Test. The initial Pre-Test results showed an average professional competence score of only 58.5 (out of 100). Following the intervention, quantitative analysis using n-Gain revealed a significant increase in competence, with most participants reaching the Medium category and 6 participants achieving the High category (n-Gain ≥ 0.70). In addition, 95% of participants successfully designed innovative PBL-based lesson plans. In conclusion, the structured training model proved effective in addressing teachers' specific knowledge gaps, while enhancing instructional planning skills, thereby significantly increasing teachers' professional readiness to create a productive learning environment.

Berdasarkan hasil observasi, wawancara, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini, diketahui bahwa sebagian besar Generasi Z di Kecamatan Kalidawir, Kabupaten Tulungagung, belum memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai pasar modal. Oleh karena itu, pelaksanaan Pelatihan Dasar Pasar Modal melalui program StockLab dinilai sangat relevan dan layak untuk diterapkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan Service-Learning yang terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu: (1) tahap investigasi, (2) tahap persiapan, (3) tahap pelaksanaan, dan (4) tahap refleksi. The increasing amount of improperly managed waste, especially plastic waste, has become a pressing environmental issue in many communities, including at SDN 1 Kuripan. This community service program aims to raise students' awareness about sustainable waste management and enhance their creativity in recycling waste into eco-friendly products. The program also seeks to provide understanding regarding the importance of waste separation and the harmful impacts of waste on the environment. The community service was conducted on Tuesday, December 2 and 4, 2025, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM, consisting of socialization, recycling training, and the creation of eco-friendly products such as bags made from plastic waste and pencil cases from used cardboard. Additionally, the program concluded with an exhibition of students' works aimed at raising awareness within the surrounding community. The results showed that students successfully improved their understanding of the importance of waste management and demonstrated creativity in producing useful recycled products. The exhibition also successfully attracted the attention of the community, increasing their awareness about waste management. This program has a positive impact on environmental education and the empowerment of the economy through waste recycling.

Perempuan sering menjadi korban KBG yang berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan fisik, psikologis, dan kesejahteraan keluarga, termasuk pemenuhan gizi anak. Literasi hukum menjadi strategi penting untuk meningkatkan pemahaman hak-hak perempuan, mekanisme perlindungan hukum, serta langkah preventif dan represif terhadap KBG. Metode kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, diskusi interaktif, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan dengan melibatkan pemangku kepentingan desa, kader kesehatan, serta aparat setempat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang bentuk-bentuk KBG, prosedur pelaporan, dan keterkaitan antara kekerasan terhadap perempuan dengan risiko stunting pada anak. This Community Service Activity aims to increase the understanding and awareness of elementary school students regarding the importance of hand hygiene through practical training in making natural hand sanitizers based on simple ingredients. The activity was carried out at SD Negeri 032 Balikpapan Utara by lecturers and students of the Oil and Gas Processing Engineering Study Program as a form of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The implementation method included the preparation stage, interactive material delivery, demonstration of hand sanitizer making, direct practice by participants, and activity evaluation. A total of ± 91 students participated in the activity enthusiastically and were actively involved in the entire training series. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to understand the basic concepts of hand hygiene and practice making natural hand sanitizers independently with the guidance of the implementation team. The resulting hand sanitizer product has characteristics suitable for daily use and is safe to use. In addition to providing educational benefits for students, this activity also improves students' communication skills, cooperation, and social awareness. Overall, this training is effective as a medium for health education and applied science for elementary school students.

The quality of mathematics learning is strongly influenced by teachers’ pedagogical competence, particularly in implementing a deep learning approach that emphasizes conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and meaningful learning processes. However, in practice, many teachers still apply procedural and memorization-oriented instruction, resulting in suboptimal implementation of deep learning. This study aims to analyze the improvement of teachers’ pedagogical competence in implementing deep learning in schools, specifically in mathematics instruction. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects of the study were mathematics teachers at the secondary school level, divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through pedagogical competence questionnaires, classroom observation sheets, and documentation of instructional planning. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to examine differences in teachers’ pedagogical competence before and after the intervention. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ pedagogical competence, particularly in lesson planning, implementation of meaningful learning, and evaluation practices aligned with deep learning principles. These findings suggest that systematic implementation of deep learning can effectively enhance the pedagogical competence of mathematics teachers. This study is expected to contribute to teacher professional development and the improvement of mathematics learning practices oriented toward deep conceptual understanding and meaningful learning.

Meanwhile, the WhatsApp group is used as an interactive discussion space, where students can ask questions and practice directly with teachers who can also provide additional materials related to English learning to enrich students' knowledge. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk kesulitan serta faktor penyebabnya dalam pembuktian matematis pada mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pembuktian matematis, observasi pembelajaran, dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan mahasiswa meliputi ketidakpahaman terhadap definisi dan sifat struktur aljabar, kesulitan mengaitkan konsep prasyarat dengan pernyataan yang dibuktikan, ketidaktepatan dalam memilih strategi pembuktian, serta kelemahan dalam menyusun argumen pembuktian secara logis dan formal. Faktor penyebab utama berasal dari rendahnya pemahaman konseptual dan terbatasnya pengalaman mahasiswa dalam latihan pembuktian. The issue of fatherlessness is a serious concern in Indonesia, given the importance of fathers as partners in childcare alongside mothers. The lack of a father's involvement can trigger various negative impacts on children, such as mental health disorders, difficulty making decisions, sexual disorientation, and low self-resilience, which increases the risk of sexual violence. According to SIGA data from 2022, in Central Java, 4.37% of children experience inappropriate parenting, and 5,974 children are cared for by a single parent. PPA Symphony data recorded a surge in child violence cases from 14,446 cases in 2021 to 16,106 cases in 2022, with sexual violence as the most cases. Unfortunately, DP3AP2KB Central Java does not have a sustainable program to strengthen the role of fathers, and so far it has only been limited to movements in certain events. This research aims to provide training that emphasizes the importance of fathers' roles in parenting through materials that strengthen affective communication, regulate emotions, promote positive discipline, and encourage active involvement in children's growth and education. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in participants' understanding of the strategic role fathers play in the family.

This community service activity aims to enhance students’ interest and understanding in learning Physics through the implementation of the Snakes and Ladders educational game integrated with the Wordwall platform. The target participants were 10th-grade students at SMAN 2 Gunung Talang, Solok Regency, West Sumatra. The implementation stages included the preparation of interactive learning media, teacher training on media usage, classroom implementation, and evaluation through learning outcome tests and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the application of the Snakes and Ladders game assisted by Wordwall successfully increased students’ active engagement during lessons, created a joyful learning atmosphere, and facilitated better comprehension of Physics concepts. Moreover, both students and teachers expressed high levels of satisfaction with this innovative approach. This program recommends the integrated use of digital and analog game-based media as an alternative active learning strategy in secondary schools.

PENGEMBANGAN JAMU INSTAN KUNYIT ASAM BERBASIS EDUKASI PARTISIPATIF DI DESA SUMBER MAKMUR

Penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengenai pengembangan jamu instan kunyit asam dengan pendekatan edukasi partisipatif di Desa Sumber Makmur. Berawal dari fakta masyarakat yang masih menggunakan jamu tradisional yang memerlukan proses perebusan yang lama, kurang bersih, dan tidak awet. Situasi ini menunjukkan perlunya inovasi dalam produk jamu yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman, seperti jamu instan kunyit asam, yaitu suplemen herbal dalam bentuk bubuk yang mudah diseduh, bersih, tahan lama, serta dikemas secara modern dan menarik. Kunyit (Curcuma longa L.) dipilih karena mengandung kurkumin yang berfungsi sebagai antiinflamasi, antioksidan, dan antibakteri. Di sisi lain, asam jawa (Tamarindus indica L.) memiliki asam organik yang efektif untuk memperlancar pencernaan, menyegarkan tubuh, dan membantu menjaga kesehatan secara alami. Program ini menerapkan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang menekankan peran aktif masyarakat dalam setiap langkah, mulai dari penentuan masalah, perencanaan, pelatihan, hingga evaluasi. Edukasi partisipatif dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, diskusi kelompok, dan workshop pembuatan jamu instan kunyit asam.
