Tanaman Obat Sosialisasi Pengolahan Produk Tanaman Obat Keluarga Di Desa Kolbano Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan

Abstract

Indonesia has very high biodiversity which is rich in various medicinal plants and has the potential to be developed and utilized optimally. Medicinal plants contain active compounds and substances that play a role in preventing and treating disease. This socialization on the use of family medicinal plants aims to increase understanding of the types of family medicinal plants, their contents, benefits and processing of family medicinal plant products so as to create a healthy community in Kolbano Village. This socialization uses observation methods, socialization/lectures, as well as discussions and questions and answers about family medicinal plants such as ginger, turmeric, betel, aloe vera and lemongrass. The results obtained are that the community can finally understand well and gain new knowledge about the types of family medicinal plants, their contents, benefits and processed products in various forms
