Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Orang Tua dalam Memberikan Pendidikan Seks pada Remaja di Desa Kabobona, Kabupaten Sigi

Abstract
The rate of early marriage in Central Sulawesi is still above the national average, namely 15.8%, including Sigi Regency. So various approaches are needed to address the factors that cause early marriage, one of which is openness between parents and children regarding sex education. It is hoped that this can prevent children from freely seeking and obtaining information related to sex from other people or through online media. To be able to provide this knowledge and understanding, good communication skills are needed so that they are able to direct teenagers to receive all information effectively. For this reason, Community Service activities have been carried out: The lack of knowledge among village residents regarding communicating sex education to children, especially teenagers, has an impact on the potential for increasing rates of early marriage due to pregnancy outside of marriage. The method used in PkM activities is in the form of sex education outreach/socialization which is filled with face-to-face lectures accompanied by question-and-answer discussions with around 25 PKK women in Kabobona Village. The results obtained from this PkM activity have further enlightened and increased the understanding of around 12 residents of Kabobona Village who are willing to provide sex education to teenagers compared to previously only 3 people who had done this. So there are a total of 15 participants who will provide sex education to teenagers for the good of their future even though some still consider it 'taboo' to do so.
