PKM KOLABORASI PASIEN DAN KELUARGA DALAM PEMULIHAN GANGGUAN KOMUNIKASI PASKA STROKE DI DESA SUKA

Abstract

Stroke merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kecacatan di Indonesia, termasuk gangguan komunikasi yang berdampak pada kualitas hidup pasien dan keluarga. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu pemulihan komunikasi pada pasien pasca-stroke di Desa Suka Raya, Stroke is one of the leading causes of disability in Indonesia, including communication disorders that significantly impact the quality of life for both patients and their families. This Community Service Program aims to support communication recovery for post-stroke patients in Suka Raya Village, Pancur Batu District, through collaboration with Posyandu Melati as a community partner. The program's methods include community outreach, training Posyandu cadres in speech therapy techniques, and implementing technology in the form of a rehabilitation application that facilitates patient monitoring. Additionally, intensive support is provided to families to ensure their active involvement in the rehabilitation process. Continuous evaluation is conducted to assess the effectiveness of the training and technology applied. The results of the program demonstrate improved communication abilities among stroke patients and enhanced skills of Posyandu cadres in providing rehabilitation support. Family involvement in utilizing the rehabilitation application also strengthens the patients' recovery process. Collaboration between Posyandu, healthcare workers, and families creates a supportive environment for post-stroke patient recovery. In conclusion, this program successfully increases the community’s capacity to support stroke patient rehabilitation and presents a model that can be replicated in other areas.
